Bought these for our kids for Christmas. Finally had a chance to install the lights around the perimeter of my son's room. They look cool and my son loves them, but the remote stopped working properly after only 3 days. the paper is very sticky but that’s a good thing because the lights won’t fall off the wall. easy to put up, but be careful it’s really sticky. the lights corresponds with my roku remote sometimes 🤣

My son was very excited to light up his room with these. They work okay. Not great, not horrible. They are bright enough and have some nice colors. They can also fade/jump between colors, can speed up or slow down said fade/jump, and can flash white. The DIY is a little bit of a mystery to use. They do have a few downsides though. Once you stick them to the wall, you really do not want to take them down because they'll rip the paint off your wall. This particular package (two rolls of 30 ft) is troublesome. First off, you have to buy connectors for extra (they don't come in the package). Second, the connectors that you do buy are incredibly difficult to use. For example, it took me around 30 minutes of finagling and cursing to get them to connect. Even then, it didn't carry the same exact color across the second roll (sunset orange to sunset orange with a tad of extra green). But, all in all, it's a decent product that takes a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of patience to maneuver. P.S. The trick for using a connector is to make sure that the end of the strip (four gold bars cut in half) keeps its adhesive. Otherwise, it will not stay in and fall out of the connector much to your dismay. Also we have bad paint so that might be the reason why it was ripped off and the strip lost its adhesive. ... show more
