Completely ripped in half already since Christmas my daughters are peanuts and weigh no more then 50lbs. It started with the seam in the middle and gradually got worse and worse, even with taping it. Would never spend this much money again

I have been using this gym mat for a couple weeks and could not be happier. I rarely write reviews, but this product solved a major home workout annoyance for me. I used to do my ab workouts and stretching on the carpet but it would hurt my tail bone. I tried using a standard yoga mat but it just wasn't thick enough. So, when I came across this product I decided to give it a chance. First, I love that it folds into three sections. I live in a very small apartment so I try to maximize space. The folding aspect makes it very easy to store. It also has two very convenient handles that make it easy to carry from room to room. Second, the product is very well made. I saw one of the reviews mention they had a stitching issue so I made sure to closely examine my mat when it arrived. I did not notice any stitching issues that I would not expect. There was an excess piece of thread on one of the handles, but that is not of concern for me. It was neither bothersome nor would it have any impact on the lasting durability of the mat. Most importantly, this product works perfectly to solve the problem I identified at the beginning of my review. I am 5' 11'' with a medium build and it the size is great for conducting my ab and stretching exercises. This product is well worth the price for the quality and comfort it provides for my workouts. Overall great item.

I am very happy with this work out mat. First, as others have mentioned, it is much thicker than an average workout/yoga mat. I personally prefer this thicker version as it is much easier on my back! My back thanks me for not having to lay out on the floor anymore. It’s convenient in that it folds up so you are able to transfer it to any location you wish with the attached carry straps. It also does not take up much space when storing it when it’s not in use. In terms of the quality, I found it to be very well made. Was a little skeptical due to a reviewer mentioning they didn't think it would last. I have already kicked on it for two long kick boxing sessions WITH SHOES ON while also doing knee jumps and I don't see the slightest signs of wear on the surface. The material is very strong, which was what I also needed to hold up to the type of friction created by my shoes on the mat. (I have torn up other yoga mats in the past doing the same thing) Did not see any fraying or loose stitching. All in all, it is a thick, comfortable, high quality mat that seems very durable. I am pleased with the purchase and def recommend it to others. Will update review if i see any signs of wear/tear in the next few weeks.

*EDIT:Replacement has exactly the same problem. Middle seam coming apart. Definitely not worth the money, even on sale. Edit: Middle seam is already coming apart. This was not good value for the money after all. Original post: It arrived on time and in good condition as fas as I could tell. The kids were in a hurry to use it so I didn't get to fully inspect it. I will go over it today. It's lightweight and seems fairly manageable. The material looks to be easy to clean. I love the bonus of velcro edges to add-on if we need to. Great size for us right now. Super deal on Prime Day too!

Pretty poorly made. We purchases this mat for below a children's kip bar. Lasted about a day and a half before the side where the strap is sewed onto failed. Now it is falling apart. I would not recommend this product if you plan on actually using it. The Material is also very thin. The padding is OK, but the vinyl is so thing, I am sure it will be easily punctured.

Bought this for my daughter so she can do tumbling. I knew it was a 4inch pad before I bought it but i didn't realize it would be as thick as it is. I could fall off a ladder and not get hurt on it. Eventually I'll use it as a landing pad for a short climbing wall.

I bought this mat just before Christmas for my two-year-old. After a couple of weeks, it started to split along the seams. I received a replacement for free in mid-January and was quite pleased. Alas, after only three months of normal toddler jumping and tumbling, I noticed a tear along one of the seams. There is another brand I bought some time ago for myself to use during exercise. Although their larger version is a bit more expensive than this mat, I will buy that instead. I would expect an item intended for physical activity to hold up more than a few months.

After having the mat for only 8 days, the corners have begun to fray and the mat tore. When we got the mat, it was laid on the carpet in our play area and our 4 year old tumbled on it in her socks. She was not rough with it in the least. While I realize that the larger, higher quality mats are much more expensive and I shouldn't expect the same amount of quality from a $90 mat, $90 is still a lot of money to spend on something that will tear under the weight of a 34 pound four year old little girl doing somersaults and cartwheels on a piece of equipment that is intended to be used that way.
