Remember to wash your brushes, because they might have a faint smell glue/ dye smell idk what smell it is, put it does go away the first time it is washed. I have ordered another set before, and it didn't have a smell, so it just depends. Regardless wash ur brushes. A tip would be to put a moisturizer on your face and slightly dampen the brush or spray it with a little water before using a foundation, for a seamless look. I use these every time for my face makeup and i have never, had a problem with seeing the bristles lines in my makeup, you just need technique. I got these brushes to paint on, I thought the gold would pair well with some blue. When I got them I was disappointed to find that they were more orange than gold which didn’t pair as well with the blue.
