Features

  • DARE TO ENTER THE MAZE: Gnomes at Night is a cooperative search-and-find maze game where players work as a team to maneuver the magnetic gnome movers around the maze. Work together in this quick-thinking communication game where every second counts!
  • CALLING IN THE GNOMES: Twelve of the Queen's most priced treasures have been stolen! The thief was last seen running through the castle's stone maze, dropping objects in his haste to get away. It's up to the Gnomes to find the treasures and return them to the Queen before morning. Can you help?
  • THE MAZES: The maze paths are different on each side of the board. You may move your mover only along the paths on your side of the board. You cannot move your mover through a wall in the maze, but the player on the other side of the board CAN move your mover through walls. That's how you can help each other reach a treasure!
  • TOYS THAT TEACH: Gnomes at Night is a great way to develop effective communication skills. Players race to identify the treasure as shown on the card to determine which side of the board that treasure is located on. Players work together maneuvering through the maze, sometimes you will be able to move easily toward the treasure, sometimes you will need to back track. Using descriptive language like left, right, up and down will help your teammate better assist you in collecting that treasure.
  • INCLUDES: 4 game boards (levels A thru D), 12 treasure cards, 2 game board holders, 2 team cards, 2 magnetic gnome movers, 4 corner-start cards, 1 sand timer and instructions.

  • Great for kids and as a family game
My 6 and 9yo love playing this game. You can play with 2 players or 4 players. It’s fun to listen to them learn how to give better directions.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my six-year-old grandson. It sounds like this could be a fun way for him to learn to work cooperatively with others.

  • Awesome for communication and teamwork skills.
This is good for team work! My 8 and 6 year old love it and we adults enjoy it too. Would like to see an expansion pack since they will start to memorize the paths before long but in 3 months they have not yet. It is great for teamwork and communication!! Helps understand trying to solve a problem together because one person has information that you do not have. Also helps with having to explain your perspectives verbally. My 4 year old is starting to figure it out but not quite yet. ... show more

  • Fun cooperative two player game.
The media could not be loaded. My 7yr old son received this gift for Christmas and really enjoys playing it. You need to collect as many treasures on the board as you can within the sand dial time limit. The gnomes are stuck together with the help of magnets and you both need to take turns moving the gnome to get through the walls that block your path. Little tip to help you start off, which you'll figure out soon enough on your own anyways but... don't bother with asking if your partner can go left or right since they will be sitting opposite you and their left is your right. Just use up or down and then point to the direction you need to go. ... show more
