Perfect chair for the nursery! The fabric is not what I was anticipating but I love it none the less. I was anticipating a linen type of fabric but it’s more like linen microfiber I guess? Anyways, onto some points other reviewers have made. 1. They’ve said it won’t stay reclined without significant effort. I’m having zero trouble keeping it reclined. In fact, I can even maneuver out of it in full recline and it stays reclined. Perhaps the manufacturer adjusted some details; 2. Same thing with the difficulty and/or noisiness of closing the recliner. Very easy to close. I can do it one handed without a sound. Assuming manufacturer took reviews seriously and worked on this; 3. The rocking and swivel features are soundless on my chair. I’m currently 165lbs at 8 months pregnant, and my husband is 205lbs. It doesn’t make a sound for either of us. Overall I’m very impressed with the chair. I’ve been sitting in it for the past hour now and have no complaints. I’m 5’8” and my husband is 6’4” and both of us find it comfortable. Oh, and to the reviewers that said their chair was sideways, you didn’t lock the back in all the way. This happened to us and I had to read the manual to figure out how to unlock the side of the back that I did insert correctly and had to reinsert it again, ensuring the second time that I heard an audible “click” on both sides. The first time, despite it feeling like I had both sides on the track, the left side was crooked and only half the pole was in the track. I had my husband help me reinsert it the second time, so I was on the track side ensuring proper alignment. Now it’s not crooked at all. So please try removing and reinserting the back!

This is a very comfortable recliner. I want to give some more information as I know when I was deciding I wanted to know these things: 1. If you are tall, this is a nice sized chair for you. My husband is 6'4 and sits comfortably in this chair. ( this was a major issue with other recliners we saw in store) 2. the swivel/rocking motion, makes a little noise, but I did not find it an issue. My newborn falls asleep without any issue. 3. When you recline, you cannot rock the chair... i would assume it is a safety issue. 4. The arm rests on the seat are not very high. So, if you have a heavy baby like we did, you may need an additional pillow to help support your arm for those long feedings/nights. 5. Closing the chair from the reclining position is sometimes difficult as the seat cushion comes out too much. So you need to really push your legs back in.

I use this EVERYDAY. Soft comfortable and swivels 360! It's not bulky and very comfortable, considering I've fallen asleep on this. It's perfect for our bedroom/nursery. As someone with limited space it's perfect! My only complain is that is not easy to clean. It was easy to assemble and shipped promptly. I love the hidden lever and I will definitely appreciate it when my daughter starts exploring her environment.

We're SO HAPPY with this purchase. Compared to other gliders we've seen at typical baby stores (BabiesRus, BabyDepot, BuyBuyBaby, etc), this reclining glider has been the most comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced. When you're expecting a baby, the last thing you want to do is spend so much money on items that won't be of the greatest use in 2-3 years. We got this rocker because it doesn't look like your typical glider/rocker and the fact that it reclines is a huge bonus. It matches perfectly with our baby girl's nursery that also doubles as a guest room since it has a grey pull-out sofa too. I find the quality of the fabric to be great, same thing with the white piping along the edges. Baby vomit and poo has already made it's way t to the glider, but was quickly wiped off with soap and very hot water. When it dried, nothing could be seen and the fabric held up VERY well, despite my frantic scrubbing with a washcloth. The rocking/gliding function is also smooth. No--it will not rock/glide if it's in the reclined position. I'm 5'6 and long limbed and the recliner was perfect for me after the baby had fallen asleep, I'd slowly pull the handle (found on the inner side of the seat) to recline for a few minutes with her on my chest, then slowly undo the recline and walk across the room to put her in her bassinet once she was in a deep sleep. Someone 6 feet tall can easily recline in this chair as well... Some people complained about how high the back of the chair was was, but I personally found this to be a good thing. Especially at 3am, when you're up with a newborn/infant, you want as much back and head support as possible. The cute little lumbar/back support pillow that comes with it is also a plus. However, the grey color is compatible with MANY different colors so, if you wanted to swap out that pillow for another one that matches your nursery, it won't be a problem. That's what we later did actually...we added a pink pillow to match our little Girl's nursery theme a bit better. The swivel (left-to-right) of the chair is a nice feature too, it's also very smooth and can be used when rocking the baby left-to-right to get rid of his/her gas or stomach discomfort (old-school remedy of laying baby across your legs, tummy down, on a pillow, then rocking from left to right. Works every time!).

We received one of these chairs as a gift and ended up ordering another for our twin boys' nursery. Love the price and the fact that this isn't covered in microfiber. We didn't have room for a chair with a foot stool, this works well in the space. We've used them for two months an are pleased with the way things are wearing. The apholstry seems to repel stains. It is wide enough to nurse with a standard boppy pillow with room to spare, but isn't wide enough to use enough with a twin "My Breast Friend" twin nursing pillow. The foot rest does require quite a bit of pressure to put down and one chair was damaged, causing a bit of trouble releasing the foot rest. It was easier for my husband to fix it than to return it for shipping. Overall, we are happy with this purchase.
