After buying their crib which we thought was a quality peice we decided to get a dresser to match. Overall finish is about the same as the crib we previously bought, but when it comes time to assemble the drawers do yourself a favor and purchase actual wood screws. They try to pass off regular drywall screws as "wood" screws and each one split the plywood drawer back. After the first drawer I tossed them out and used SPAX screws that are designed for joining wood without a pilot hole. After gluing the outside plys back together and using the SPAX screws, everything else went together with no issue. A word to the manufacturer: either upgrade the screws or take 5 more seconds in the assembly line and predrill the drawer holes instead of a useless dimple. ... show more

    • Wonderful dresser to compliment crib!

If you're like me you read the reviews and get wary of the the negative ones. Usually I don't purchase things with consistently bad reviews but I was desperate to have the matching set and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. Packaging was great, lots of Styrofoam and wrap to prevent in-box damage. Outer box has a few dings but no damage to any pieces. Pieces were clearly labeled and instructions were clear on how to assemble. If you can do ikea furniture you can do this! I bought actual wood screws for this project on the advice of other reviewers and glad I did. Building went flawless and I did it alone in under 2 hours. My only qualm is that this dresser is smaller than one would expect for the price and that the drawers on my unit slowly slide open. This is likely due to how I assembled it and will be able to fix my mistake. ... show more

Please help! With the drawers fully extended open, there is only 7.5 inches of opening and another 7 inches deep into the drawer. This cant be right. Very difficult to get anything out of the drawer, if it's at the back. Looking for some help. Thank you

    • A dresser less than the sum of it's parts

The exterior wooden parts of this dresser look great and certainly portray a quality better than that of most flat packed furniture. However, the hardware provided to fasten all of these wooden pieces together are for lack of a better word, awful. I knew there would be issues when my screw driver began to gouge the first cam head I used while turning. Despite taking care to not over tighten the cam locks due to the suspect quality I had three cam locks fail (aka break apart) during the process of tightening. I now have three areas on the dresser that are not locked together and I will need to either purchase a replacement cam head or install a corner brace to join those areas together as there are zero extras provided. I also had the rear panel of two drawers split when using the provided screws to assemble the drawers. I'm no carpenter so I can't tell you what the cause of this is but seeing the other reviews this is an ongoing quality issue. So in summary, the dresser looks great against the wall in my sons room... which is a good thing because I won't be moving it for a while since it'll probably fall apart. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was looking for...
I wanted a grey dresser but had a hard time finding one that was simple as I didn't want it to be the focal point in the room. This dresser fit the bill. I actually am using this in my master bedroom and just wanted a mid-size simple dresser. Arrived one day earlier than expected. Packaged VERY well and there was no damage on any of the pieces. I am single and was able to put the entire dresser together by myself in about 3 hours. It was easy to put together and I had no problems--just put on a movie and went to work. Drawers fit the first time I slid them in, nothing out of balance or crooked. The color is just as pictured....a very nice grey. I will be purchasing some new drawer pulls just to give it a little 'lift' since it is in my master (vs baby room which is what it was intended for). The drawers slide nicely. As it is geared for a nursery, the drawers are not very deep. As I am using this in my master I would have liked a bit deeper drawer, but of course I didn't expect this since it is for a nursery. My only thought if using it in a kids room is that the drawers could 'pop' out if a child were yanking on them or rough housing with them (which I would hope they wouldn't, but cannot guarantee that a toddler won't do that). Nonetheless, I would be very satisfied if I were using it in a nursery or child's room. Great buy! I highly recommend! ... show more

Just want to mention since the majority of the negative reviews regarding this product had to do with assembly... my husband built this in less than 2 hours and he had to stop and charge his drill. The dresser is lovely and perfect for a nursery and at a great price. It's not very heavy or thick wood construction but it's exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with the delivery and very fortunate to have a husband that is super handy. If the reviews regarding assembly worry you, you have to take in consideration the skill level of who will be putting yours together and that of the reviewers. This product was obviously repackaged. One of the drawer rails was already attached, but was broken and a screw was missing. The screw holes had been stripped. Product quality was very poor. It had been damaged and returned at some point. The company is not customer service oriented and don't care about their reputation when they send a previously damaged product to a new customer. We ordered this dresser and a crib the same brand for our second kiddo. Our first crib and dresser set was Simmons, comparable in price, and is significantly nicer and more sturdy than this junk! The drawers and dresser are small, don’t feel sturdy, and even with the topper for the changing pad it’s still low for diaper changes. The furniture is nice looking, but is certainly not nice furniture for the price. The dresser was someone what of a pain to put together because the hardware and pieces were junk! My husband had to cut down screws to even get the furniture to assemble properly and set a drawer to close. ... show more
