I bought this chair after looking for a nursery glider for months. I ended up picking this chair because it's more compact than some of it's competitors but is still big enough for my 6'0 240 lb. Husband. We had limited space in our room (10×10) and this fits the bill perfectly. It comes in 2 pieces, the base and the back rest. Easy to assemble, the back rest simply slides onto the base. This chair completed our nursery perfectly. After learning that I would be delivering by cesarean, I searched for a month for the perfect rocking chair. I needed a chair that was narrow in size and small enough to fit my height, which is 5’2, but I couldn’t find one that worked. After reading the reviews and viewing the pictures of the chair I decided to purchase it. I didn’t have a chance to sit in the chair prior to purchasing it, but I was willing to take the risk, and I’m so glad that I did. I really like the comfort and size. Baby just came this week and this chair has been great! I am 5’11” and it is the perfect height for me! My husband is 6’6” and loves it as well! The wise seat and skinny arm rests are perfect if you’re using a boppy to nurse.

    • Comfortable little chair

Received this chair today. It was delivered surprisingly quickly which was nice. I was able to drag the box in the house and out of the rain (it was left on the porch so it would have been fine). But had to wait until my husband got home to get the base out of the box. It went together easily. The pillow back is very comfortable. The arms are sturdy and firm, but they have about an inch and a half of foam so they seem like they’ll be nice to rest your arms on. I was a little disappointed by the back height. It is 27” tall like other reviewers stated, but overall shorter than I would have liked. At 5’8” I can slouch slightly and rest my head on the back mostly comfortably. The chair back hits my 6’2” husband at the top of the shoulders, so he definitely couldn’t rest his head if he wanted to. It’s a narrow chair, and therefore doesn’t take up a lot of space, perfect for our small nursery to be. I’m a size 14/16 and fit comfortably, despite the narrow width. It glides smoothly and silently. We’ll see if it continues to do so with a bit of use. As of day 1, I would definitely recommend this chair. I decided to go with this chair because of its slim profile and the price! It’s comfortable and the rocking feature is nice. I’m 5’3” and my husband is 6’1” (250 pounds) and we both find it equally comfortable. Super easy to put together - just slide the back into the base until it clicks in. Davinci also sells a universal ottoman in matching colors which I might get! Overall I recommend if you want a nice comfortable rocker without spending a ton of money! ... show more

The back cushion is soft and comfortable however the seat cushion is on the firmer side, which could be good for anyone who has a harder time getting up. I'm 5'10" and this chair has a back tall enough to where I can nestle down into the seat, lean my head back, and be looking at about a 45 degree angle from eye level. The back certainly isn't tall enough to where you can comfortably lean your head back and end up looking straight ahead. Compared to other, more expensive nursing chairs I've sat in, it's much better. The seat cushion is nice and big. It's a little bit firm, but it very well may soften up as I spend more time in it.
