Wanting a glider in the bedroom that is going to be used for the nursery proved complex with my narrow doorways upstairs. I carefully measured and just squeaked this one in. This is comfortable and seems well made and solid. There was a very little to do to assemble this. I just had to slide the back into a slot in the seat base. This was a little tricky, but not too bad. In order to keep it strong and stable the tolerance requires you line the back up and draw it down completely level. It took a couple of tries, but it wasn't to bad once I figured out what to do. Amazon delivered this in a big truck and a box about 30 inches square. They got it to my door and I sort of rolled it in. Fortunately my more normal sized doors on the first floor handled that well. The boxk was solid and looked like it was designed well to avoid any shipping damage. This is my first piece of furniture I bought on Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. ... show more

I was incredibly nervous to buy this after reading SO many negative reviews about it squeaking. However, I decided to give it a try and have loved it so far. No squeaking for me yet and I've had it for 6 months now. It's comfortable, glides & rocks well, and the neck pillow hits me perfectly (I'm 5'3"). I did intentionally buy a smaller/skinnier glider because I have a small nursery, so I can't complain about that - but, if you're planning to nurse in this chair, just be aware that it's not super wide. ... show more

I absolutely love this glider! It swivels and glides in all directions easily. Setting it up only took a few minutes. It is very comfortable and perfect for rocking baby to sleep. I also love the narrow sides so I can rest the nursing pillow on each arm instead of balancing it on my lap.

However it did come with a black scuff mark on the seat cushion and when I cleaned it the cushion retained water staining which was disappointing especially since the chair may see some spills considering it’s for our nursery. But overall a good purchase, super comfortable for my husband and I who are 5’9 and 5’10. Rocking is quiet, no squeaking and I really like that you can swivel 360 making it easily accessible to your surroundings.
