We love this airplane! I bought it for my 16 month old son for a trip (on Southwest, natch). The sound was perfect for the plane ride. Loud enough to hear, soft enough not to have everyone on the plane want to kill us. I don't think it was audible to anyone outside of our row on the flight. The toy itself is adorable, and the airline branding is a nice touch. It got lot of points with the Southwest flight attendants and other passengers. I was asked where we got it countless times. Now, about a month later, my son still plays with this every day. He grabs it and one of his airplane books to sit on my lap for story time. We talk about the parts of the plane as we look at the books, and point out where these things are on "his" airplane. The airplane even has little plush engines sewn onto it! For a plush toy it's surprisingly realistic. My son doesn't use the sound effect much anymore, just occasionally. Our household is a bit averse to electronic-noise toys yet if given the option to buy this toy with or without sound, I'd probably still choose it with the sound. ... show more

    • Perfect for a toddler learning about airplanes.
Purchased this SWA jet for our toddler son, who's getting into all things mechanical. He often looks skyward and sees the contrails streaking across, so airplanes are what he's into for the moment. This jet is pretty neat, and the sound effect it makes is acceptably toned down so as not to annoy. He took to it quickly, and now takes it to bed with him. I see that Daron has a fleet of different plush jets, including Air Force One, so I will probably add more of these to his collection. I suppose the only negative aspect of this toy is its susceptibility to dirt, but it's par for the course. Overall, a good, fun, non-damaging toy. ... show more

Was so pleased with this plush Southwest Airplane for our grandson's 1st birthday. Grandpa had recently retired from Southwest Airlines, so this plush was a perfect gift. When you press the top of the airplane, it makes a take-off and landing sound. Not too loud, and has nice embroidery for the features. Grandson is obsessed with planes right now, so a cute, soft and safe toy for an 18 month old. Airplane sound is authentic but can barely hear it.

So we flew through southwest earlier in the year. My then 3 yr old was obsessed with southwest. Still is if I’m being honest. So my oldest thought he needed this even though it was young for his age. My 3yr old still loves it several months later.

My little guy loves airplanes and points to every single one as they pass overhead. This was a no brainer. Every detail is stitched on, so you don't have to worry about little parts coming off. My son loves the take off and landing sounds, he gets the look of surprise whenever it's activated. It's perfect for those little hands that want to carry it around!! The only thing I have to really address is, there should be some kind of instructions on how to keep that tail fin standing straight, ours is still folded over. ... show more

This little airplane stuffie got lots of smiles from the airline crew on our recent flight. It is just the right size for a toddler backpack. My little one held onto it during three flights, while coloring, watching a movie, snacking, etc. It has sound but it is not loud and does not activate unless squeezed tightly - which is perfect for not annoying the travelers around you. Either we will have to fly this same airline again, or I will have to buy another little stuffed airplane! ... show more
