This spackling paste could be used by itself or with other compounds for a smooth finish. I use this in addition with other compounds for plastering and skim coating where there is imperfections. I would recommend this product.

The four star is because the container opened a wee-bit and leaked an ounce of material in the shipping box. Either it was not sealed right or banging around in the box with no cushioning opened the lid. Otherwise it is just fine.

The product inside the jar is fine, but opening it was honestly more frustrating than cutting open a clam-pack. Is there some reason a 65 year old DYI-er should need to work that hard to open a can? It’s not weapons-grade uranium. It’s spackling compound.
