In US womens I'm size 8W due to my wide toe box. In Dansko, it depends on the shoe for me: in some size 38 fits best and in others I'm 39. For these adorable mary janes, given the toe shape and the reviews, I went with 38. So glad I did because they fit perfectly. 39 would have been too big. The insole is also just right for me too: firm and stable with good arch support, with a bit of cushioning on top for added comfort. The velcro closure ensures that I can get the perfect fit. We'll see how long it holds. The honey color is gorgeous. So much so that I shelled out the full price, even though the brown version was $40 cheaper. My only semi-gripe is that the buttery soft honey colored leather (which again, I paid full price for) arrived with a scuff. Though I understand that's exactly what leather conditioner is for, I can probably count on having to smooth out scuffs often in these. Haha, but I'll do it!

I purchased these shoes because I needed travel shoes for winter. I need shoes with a wide toe box. These fit beautifully (very comfy, good support, don't need to be "worn in"), even with thick wool socks. I was worried that the sole is a little elevated and I can be a little unstable on my feet, but stability is not a problem at all. These shoes are very well made and I feel like they're going to last a really long time. Even the velcro on the strap is very secure. Well worth the price.

The Dansko brand is one of my most favorite. It's known for stylish, quality footwear and this clog is no different. While wearing this shoe, I can stand for hours and not have sore feet or back pain. Great arch support, a generous toe box and a classic silhouette make this Mary Jane-style shoe a hit. I purchased a Beatrice pair in black, but the red is absolutely adorable, too. I've gotten so many compliments from strangers while wearing my shoes. No surprise to me...it's a Dansko!

Updated, final review …. I almost got rid of these things, but I am so glad that I didn’t. Admittedly they were clunky and I tripped before I got used to them. After several months of “breaking in”, they are my FAVORITE shoes. I wear them during summer without socks, and winter with socks. With dresses, with pants. Whatever. They are my perfect plantar fasciitis shoe. The best that I have. Helps my hip too. I guess that same hip had bursitius(?). I just feel so much better when I wear them. Going to buy some Danskos booties for the winter. These are the best for this 43 year old teacher. I wear the strap good and snug now. ————————————- First review before breaking them in: I’m not sure what I think of these crazy shoes. They are definitely different than what I expected, and I’ve never had shoes like this before. I am dealing with plantar fasciitis. The arch support is great. They are so darn hard. I don’t know if my foot is in them correctly. Apparently your heel is supposed to move freely, up and down, so the shoe shouldn’t be tight on your foot. I wish I had gotten a size bigger, but I stretched the one shoe for my weird foot, and it is working ok now. They really aren’t that comfortable. But at the end of the day, my bad foot isn’t hurting, and neither is that bum hip on the same side. Not sure if it is coincidental. Time will tell and then I will update. If he helps my foot, I will be elated! The red was beautiful. Definitely not flexible. Scuffs Easily. Very heavy. They are kind of clunky and feminine at the same time, which is what I’m going for. I had recess duty today and they held up to the dirt pretty well. I don’t love walking in these things. But... they might be working for me. Interesting. My feet feel protected in them. Really good for standing, I think.

This is my first time buying Dansko's, and I am surprised at how comfortable they are. The sizing is a little weird though. I did have to get the pads to go at the heel as they slip a little bit, but overall, great quality, comfortable, not slick at all, so I'm not worried about slipping in them. The Velcro closure is very strong as well. These have definitely become my go-to shoes for work!

Dansko sizes differ. With thin socks I'm a 38 and without socks I"m a 37. I've decided to wear these without socks. In Dansko boots with thin socks I'm a 38 and with THICK WOOL socka (winter) I'm a 39. I know that's confusing, but what you should do here is order your usual Dansko size and then just see what fits you. My feet are wide, but I always order a medium wide in Dansko because their shoes are always pretty wide for mediums. These fit nicely and look classy casual with jeans and a nice sweater. Glad I found them.

I am someone whose level of comfort with shoes ends with sneakers. I wear sneakers going everywhere, and one day I was fed up with how I look like a college student all the time. After doing research into mules, pumps, sandals, clogs, I spent 2 hours reading Amazon reviews for different options and ordered a few pairs. All of the mules and flats didn't have good arch/ball support and I felt like I could feel the impact of every pebble on the ground. I tried a few pairs of clogs that I felt like slid around too much when walking. This pair is 99% perfect!! Wearing t-shirt, jeans and these clogs makes it look like I actually tried before leaving the house. They are so comfortable and are going to be my default shoes when I travel whenever I don't want to look like a slob. Areas of improvement: 1. Sizing. I did have to order a different size (normally I'm 7.5 but had to order the 6.5 with this pair) and I felt like my invisible socks look a little tacky peeping out of the shoe slightly. 2. "arch farts." I definitely want to wear socks though because walking around in these shoes without socks makes a funny suction sound. 3. Scuffing. Scuffs pretty easily. I sprayed mine with a waterproofing/ anti scuff spray that helped a bit.

I have been enjoying these clogs and they are quite comfortable. I like that they have a bit of a heel, although I would love a slightly higher heel. I like that the soles are rubbery. They are big on me in the heel, so I put an additional arch support and a heel pad so that my feet don't slide forward too much. I am very hard to fit and hard to please.... That being said... Yesterday I noticed the insides are peeling. I thought I had ordered "all-leather" shoes. I see it says leather or fabric lining. I missed that. But fabric does NOT peel. My feet have tended to get pretty sweaty in them this summer, too. "Pleather" linings cause feet to sweat and then move around and that can cause blisters. And they get stinky, inlike ALL-leather shoes. What good is it if the outside holds up, but the inside starts to crumble. NOT good. I am really tired of not being able to find quality all-leather shoes that last and don't cost over $200. I am glad I got these on sale. People can buy vegan leather for much less, but if the outsides or insides are like these, they will peel and crumble and in a year or two you will need another shoe. I guess I will search harder to find full-leather on sale and they will last me MANY years.
