This flannel fits well and is comfortable. It is very warm and wind does not go through it. This was one downfall as I was looking for something that air flows well as a safer replacement for my hoodie. But it is too warm. Right out of the shipping bag, 1)saw that it came VERY professionally folded in a zipper bag of it's own; 2) saw ALL the snaps had a protective little sticker cover on them, even the inside snaps; 3) checked out all the snaps, seem very high quality; 4) tested all the zippers: said to be AND look to be waterproof & high quality; 5) on trying it on, glad I read the reviews that said go Up One, otherwise I would have gotten a medium, based on experience w similar Milwaukee Leather flannel - I normally wear a Men's Large shirt, and this large is JUST loose enough to fit nicely, not too tight OR baggy, and should allow for either a long sleeve shirt or a thin hoodie (not a fan of hoodies when riding); 6) lastly, comes with ALL the armor including the spine pad - which I am not accustomed to, so I find it more comfortable with that being removed. Nice to not have to buy that separately tho! Also, the side hand pockets are to me a major selling point. The wife likes to lean on me & put her hands in the pockets if it's a little chilly. The first one I ordered was unwearable. The stitching was off. You could not wear it properly. The second one was perfect. Nothing wrong with it. It is comfortable, maybe a little heavy for the summer. I personally do not like the concealed carry pockets. It is not a comfortable way to carry at all. I gave it 3 stars because I had to order 2 of them Just to try one. The quality of the second one was well made, If I had received it first I probably would have gave it 4 stars. ... show more

This is definitely a nice flannel. It has many pockets. SIZING is important. You NEED to order two sizes Larger if you're a big guy or have any kind of gut or it will be to short and tricky to wear undershirts. For the price it's worth it, especially with a back pad included. The zippers feel pretty good also. The arms are a perfect length especially if you have a cruiser with any kind of raised bars. Try it. ... show more

zippers failed almost immediately, they literally split open. also pay close attention to size, if your questioning anything size up! because its a riding Jacket it didn't fail with in the returnable time frame so support was absolutely terrible. they actually lied to me on the phone on what they would do for me. consider a different brand these guys are the worst. if i could give it less then one star i would!! ... show more

My husband is just a BIG DUDE. He's just under 6', but has got MASSIVE arms & chest. He's got a bit of a belly on him, but nothing out of the ordinary. To put it plainly, he's a big, stocky dude. I knew that reading the size guide would be "a little on the important side!" He normally wears a 2XL in shirts. With these reviews and the size guidelines, I ordered a 5XL and said a prayer while I submitted the order. The 5XL was SPOT ON! I have yet to wash it, so I'm unsure if shrinkage will occur. I will update my post if needed. The quality is great and all of the armor covered what needed to be covered. Also, my husband said it's extremely comfortable, which when wearing these articles of clothing, you tend to sacrifice comfortable for uniqueness. That wasn't necessary in this case.
