    • Toasty and Warm is how I feel
Size: 2X Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
I was volunteering at Christmas Storybook Land in Albany Oregon, which is held in an unheated building. Long hours in the cold was difficult. Then I bought and started wearing the DEWALT Heated Jacket. What a difference!. The jacket itself was very comfortable and warm, and if needed, I usually used the medium setting. The warming panels were in the right places and the comfort and look of the coat was excellent. The supplied battery was quick to charge and provided 3 or so hours of comfort in 36 degree F ( 2 degree C ) temperature. I am very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

    • Worked for less than a month
Size: 2X Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
Frustrating experience... I purchased this coat for my husband in October for his birthday in November. Gave him the coat and he was super excited. He had put off buying this for a long time due to the price. We had a really cold November so he was able to use it right away. Last week while he was at work he noticed the coat would no longer heat up. My husband is a crane operator so he isn’t over working this coat by any means. Anyhow since I delayed giving my husband this coat until his birthday I messed up my return window with Amazon as well as the seller that this coat came from. The option the seller gave me is to utilize the warranty that Dewalt has for the coat to send in and have it fixed. I’ll see if Dewalt will even cover a warranty thru a Amazon store. Regardless it’s pretty inconvenient that I have to do all this stuff for a coat that we just purchased...Nothing seems to be made well anymore. ... show more

    • Medium Jacket
Size: Medium Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
Very nice and comfortable jacket. It appears as though I received a previously purchased item as there are dirt spots/stains on the jacket and the tags were ripped off and placed in the box. The charging adapter has black streak marks on it. It warms up nicely and is true to size.

    • Great for outside work in winter
Size: Medium Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
This is really nice for outside work during Iowa winters. I typically will wear another jacket over this as well. One piece of advice is to just wear a T-shirt under this jacket. Wearing a sweatshirt under it will actually not be as warm, because it will be insulating you against the heat a bit. Should order it a bit small so it fits tightly. Much better to layer over top of this. A double stacked battery will fit in the interior zipper pocket if you don't mind the awkward bulge. The included single stack 2ah battery is alright, but doesn't last long on high heat. The power input of this jacket is a round 12v "barrel jack", NOT 5v USB. Keep that in mind if you plan on using other power sources than Dewalt batteries. ... show more

    • Works with all my Dewalt 20V batteries!
Size: Large Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
I use this for outdoor yard work and has 3 heat levels indicated by the color of the on/off button: high (red), medium (white), and low (blue). It comes with its own battery and battery charger and it worked perfectly with all my other Dewalt 20V batteries from other Dewalt tools. The only trick I discovered is that you have to hold down the 'On' button for about 5 seconds to turn it on the first time. Once it is 'On' then every click of the button lowers the heat level one step. You can really feel the heat on the back, front chest and the arms and it feels awesome on winter mornings during outdoor yard work on in the evenings watching the sunset after a day using Dewalt leaf blower, lawn mower (which uses 2 batteries), edge trimmer, electric drills, circular saw or hedge trimmer. Yes, I guess you could saw I am 'all in' on the Dewalt battery platform. One other cool thing about the jacket is that it comes with a connector for the battery that includes a USB charger for your phone. If the battery ever runs out, I can swap it in a few seconds with any other of my Dewalt 20V battery collection, and it has a couple of zipper pockets to hold my phone or another backup battery. ... show more

    • keeps you warm but they moved the switch
Size: Large Pattern Name: Jacket Kit
They moved the switch from the inside to the outside of the upper left chest. The light reflects into my glasses and causes a glare that is annoying. how ever it does keep you warm
