    • Fits the snap-on adaptor of the old Danby DDW1805W portable dishwasher
I was a little worried that it would be hard to find the right adaptor for this old Danby portable dishwasher, model DDW1805W, I got used for cheap, but this fits perfectly. The Danco adaptor has screw markings on the inside and outside of its head to accommodate male or female faucet heads. In my case, I realized my faucet needed 55/64 -27 female fitting, I pulled out one of the rubber washers (not sure what the word is for that rubber piece) from the Danco adaptor and I screwed it right on and then snapped my dishwasher adaptor head right onto it. There's been no leaking at all, although I probably should use teflon plumbing tape around the faucet head to safeguard against future leaking. The newer Danby portable models seem to have the same snap-on adaptor heads (as do the SPT portable units) so I imagine this thing would fit those, but I can only speak about the model I have. The Danco does not have an aerator and so the water flow is a bit chaotic when i'm using the tap and not the dishwasher, but I have read that the few adaptors you can get that do have aerators are more prone to leaking and I also didn't want to restrict water flow to the dishwasher. Losing the aerator is a small sacrifice for the pleasure of finally having a dishwasher in a rental apt. ... show more

Bought a C_____ portable dishwasher. Installed the included faucet adapter, leaky connection. Wasted 2 hours installing/reinstalling thread tape. Leaks. Searching for a tool, I see a Danco packet that read "faucet adapter". Silly DIYer, I had bought something I thought I might need for the new dishwasher. Installed the Danco adapter, no leaks. Turns out, the Danco washer was just slightly taller than the included adapter washer. Shout out to all us DIYers!! ... show more

    • Works perfectly with Danby portable countertop dishwasher
This hooked up easily to my sink once I was able to get the aerator off. (I had to use pliers.) This screwed in very easily and latches up with the connector to the dishwasher. (I have the Danby DDW621WDB.) I have not experienced any spraying or leaking. This does not have an aerator in it and I'm learning now that there might be dishwasher adapters that include aerators out there. I do miss the aerator a little - if I rinse a spoon in the sink the water goes nuts. However, this one works so well with zero problems that I'm hesitant to bother changing it. ... show more

fit the new sink faucet just fine, screwed on easily with no leaks, however the adapter part was way too small for a GE Portable dishwasher so it was useless for our needs. however it looked to be quality made and if your dishwasher connector takes a small connection (adapter) then i do not see why this would not work for your needs. ... show more

Got this to connect w/ my SPT-2022 countertop dishwasher, as I bought it used and hadn’t been given the part. It fit perfectly. Plumber’s tape is required, which is to be expected. Without it, there will be some spray when using a countertop/portable dishwasher. There’s additional pressure once the water is running and being confined to the connected portable dishwasher’s system. Works perfectly with the plumber’s tape. *Update* 6 months later, it’s still working great with 0 problems. I’m thankful that I can disconnect and reconnect the portable dishwasher’s hose multiple times per week quickly and easily still, even just to pause the cycle and wash my hands. ... show more
