I've been living in this tent full time from October 2021 to now (start of June) and this thing seems indestructible. I was concerned a little bit because it's a bit of knockoff to something like canvascamp but at about half the price I've been very impressed! It's made it through 70mph winds, 1 foot snow dumps, week long rain storms, and every other type of weather imaginable. I didn't buy the extra rain fly and it's held up just fine. The first couple times it rained there were a couple seams that had some small drip leaks, but applied a little seam seal and they haven't leaked since. There has been some leaking from the walls if there's a driving rain storm that constantly gets the sides wet, but as long as there's nothing touching the outside walls the water is easy enough to clean up. Also if you're running a stove and let the snow pile up against the sides, as it melts you'll end up with some water inside. I did have to cut the stove pipe hole bigger and would suggest getting the canvascamp stove jack for minimal leaking if you have a larger wood stove. The canvas material is a little less robust than traditional canvas but only in the sense that if embers land on it, it's likely to melt a bit. The floor material is durable and has held up well. As the material stretches you have to tighten up the lines, but that's pretty standard. Those are all the things I've run into over the months. Overall there's some nuances to it for sure but many tents would have similar problems when faced with tough weather conditions. Right now i have this tent set up in the back yard I want to know what it can handle before going out with it. This tent has been through two good snow storms, one was 14 inches with winds 25 MPH and gusting to 50 the second one winds only got up around 20 but almost 10 inches and it got through both storms with no problems. the only thing I did so I don't know if it would of been a problem was my wife had a silicone baking pan so I cut it up and put it in-between the pipe and the hole to give it added protection and so far all is good, handles snow, rain and wind very happy with it will buy another one. ... show more

Purchased this tent 3 weeks ago and used it on two different trips. First trip was a 2 days 1 night trip and it rained and leaked through the tent walls (which was expected since it said it would leak the first time but once the fabric dries in the sun it shouldn't leak anyone) and the next morning it was so much work to dry the tent at home. I left it out in the backyard to dry for more than 2 hours and I still had to use a blow dryer. This week I went on a 4 days 3 night trip and it rained on the second and third night. Again I had the exact same problem. My bags that were touching the walls were soaked. THIS IS NOT WATERPROOF! Also the inside of the tent is poorly stitched. There are a couple of spots that give off that "cheap" vibes. Another problem I had with this tent is that the zippers are very hard to close. They get stuck easily and you really have to give it a strong tug to close. ... show more

Tent is much smaller then expected and the patch for the chimney isn’t heat resistant so it melted a bit. The chimney fitting for the hole should be a required purchase.
