We only bought this because we had a half a beef coming and it was the ONLY freezer we were able to find available. Would have preferred a little larger size. It is a very nice little freezer, the only strange thing about it is when you close the door after having it open, the freezer does a weird hissing noise; never had a freezer do that before. It froze everything I put in it, and finally turned the thermostat to number 2 Update: after 3 years and this has been wonderful, we also bought the Danby aprtment size refrigerator fir it's small size as we are retired and don't need as much room now that the kids are gone.     • Width is not accurate.
I ordered this freezer based on the dimensions they quoted because it was the perfect fit for the area I needed to put it. The width quoted is not 25.7", mine measures the same width as depth. Quite a bit disappointed with that fact but it seems to a pretty decent upright freezer.

I needed a larger freezer. The smaller one just couldn't handle everything I wanted in it. This has large shelves and ample room in the door. It's very quiet. The styling is good, too. temperature control needs to be improved - have it down all the way and is still too cold. has ice chuncks in food bags/containers.
