This is all my fault, I didn't examine the photos close enough. I read "mosaic" and assumed it was bits of tumbled glass. Instead these are colored stones. I'm nor sure how well the glue will hold the stones. I envisioned this could be used to make patterns and designs but it is like dumping sprinkles (or tiny chicklets - remember those) onto a frame. So I got this for my 8 year old because she loves crafts and with school now being out I wanted to get her these little craft sets to keep her busy and off screen time. This frame is a cute idea and the stones are pretty, however the stones are very tiny. My 8 year old maybe got 1/4th of the frame covered and then got a bit bored and gave up. My 10 year old ended up finishing it up. It's cute but I would recommend it for older children. ... show more

This craft set keeps my 12 year old entertained and busy for hours on end. The pieces are a bit on the small side but she is able to handle it just fine. This would make a great gift. Overall I would highly recommend.
