I have combination skin that means oily in some places and dry in others. This moisturizer is THICK and it works wonders in my dry spots, but it was causing breakouts in my oily spots when I used it as an all over moisturizer. Once I started using it as a spot treatment moisturizer instead—using this in my dry spots and a lighter moisturizer in my oily spots, it had been very helpful. I think it your skin leans dryer, this could be a very good all over moisturizer for me. I loved the dewy look that it gave to my skin.

I really like this moisturizer! At first I didn't, as I didn't apply enough of the product as this doesn't have as much "spreadability" as some lotions do. I applied four pumps the next day and that covered my face, neck, and decolletage. The lotion has no scent and at first it feels a little heavy, but then it melts into the skin with a silky softness that I positively associate with creams that have a high level of niacinamide. After a minute my skin develops a glowy and healthy look with a natural finish. My dry/combination skin feels well hydrated and plumped, but this does not cause congestion around my chin and t-zone! I am 100% pleased with this and I would absolutely buy this again. I feel confident recommending this, especially for anyone who appreciates the results of using Niacinamide. At 40+ years old, with a Scots-Irish complexion that will not tolerate Retinoids, I have found this (along with Vitamin C) to be the best anti-aging ingredient for me.

This is an extremely thick moisturizer. I tried using it on top of my toner after I wash my face as well as using it alone. Both seem to have comparable effects, but I surprisingly prefer it alone. It doesn't spread easily (maybe it's because it's winter time and the temperature is low) nor is it absorbed quickly into my skin. I feel that it remains a very noticeable layer on my face for hours and hours, even after a night's sleep if it wasn't rubbed off onto my sheets or pillow case. My face does feel softer in the morning when I use it at night. I don't wash my face fully in the morning so I don't apply it in the morning (direction says apply on cleansed face). I am just not crazy about the herbal medicinal scent and the layer that stays on my face even the morning after. For moisturization, though, it's definitely excellent. It's quite good for mature skin. Made in the USA.

Virginskin Daily Glow Active Hydrator | Dermatologist-Developed Daily Moisturizer Cream PROS: - I put the ingredients in a cosmetic ingredient analyzer and it gave them all super or good, except for the last ingredient is a little bit of fragrance. - Moisturizing but not sticky. - Absorbs quickly and fully. - Nice, thick lotion - doesn't run off my finger before I can apply it - Beautiful box and pump bottle. Could definitely be given as a gift - Pump works well and dispenses a small amount at a time - which will make it last longer. Also like that it's a pump as it's more hygenic. - Colorless and mostly scentless - I don't like extra 'stuff' in my skincare - Made in the U.S. CONS: - I wish it listed the percentage of active ingredients so you really know what you're paying for
