Its a little creamy and has a slight shine and looks wonderful on me. I cannot stop wearing it, even in the house because I like it that much. I just wish it was a shade lighter blue because it can look black depending on how much I've applied and lighting. Its on par to normal lipsticks as it relates to lasting and doesn't seem to really smudge. I only touched it up once during a 14 hour event (after eating) and when I got home it was only slightly faded but if I had to go another hour or two I wouldn't have reapplied. I have sensitive skin and most lotions, fragrances, perfumes, etc tend to break me out or cause actual hives/blisters so I stick to lip liners and Vaseline. Pretty chocolate color. The only drawback is that it doesn’t last long. I have to re-apply several times a day. Also it only stays on the dry part of my lips. It’s called “Hit Snooze”.

Since turning 40 I've noticed I am losing my natural lip pigment. So I bought my first real lipstick from Mac a few years ago (I only wore chapstick prior), but unfortunately my favorite shade was a limited edition so I've been looking for a replacement for a while. I found my dupe w/Skip the Gym and actually feel like it lasts longer than Mac's did. I have bought 8 shades in total and love the cream and matte finishes, although personally I lean more towards cream. I feel like all of the colors I could wear any day (some w/less makeup overall) w/o looking like a clown. Vivid and darker shades of lipstick do not work well with my skin tone, Although golden, caramel , and even muted light mauve tones are the shades I most prefer as they are the best and most complimentary shades of lipstick for my coloring, Sleep Late is a neutral and muted almost silvery tan shade of lipstick that works ok with my skin tone. Pleasantly surprised by it's long lastedness, after eating and drinking and several hours, I haven't retouched the lipstick and it still looks pigmented and even (as even as my shaky hand can get 🤣), just the corners of my lipss came off. Feels amazingly creamy and smooth as you put it on, not sticky. It dries nicely without feeling like my lips are wearing a plastic mask. The only thing is I wish the color was a little bit more orange, like the color on the tube, I would call this more of a coral, in the pink range. Photos are after about 5 hours of wear ... show more
