Comes empty to had to by about 10lbs of pollyfill but ots great for practice submissions. At first I thought the position of the dummy was weird but once u get it it's the perfect position to mimic having u in side control, have you in close gaurd, have you in mount and have you in backpack. Also mimics defensive postures with elbows tucked like a good partner when u have it in close gaurd, side control, mount and turtle. Great product worth the buy.

Bought this for my son so he could practice on his off days and for stress relief after a series of long, mind numbing meetings. Cons: comes unstuffed, it's a PAIN to stuff the thing and you have to 'roll your own' - tedious to fill. Pros: build/quality seems good (taking a beating so far with kicks, punches, etc.) and good training tool. As usual, read the comments for great tips on stuffing, how-to, etc. In the end I used a combination of poly fill and old rags/towels to give it some weight. I also went a bit nuts and built a skeleton for it to give it some rigidity (picture shows the hips and legs, I built a spine and some arms too...I don't recommend doing that as it took a long time and the payoff was limited, but I hated the floppy arms so used blue 1/2 pex and elbow fittings wrapped in pool noodles....the put that inside the dummy and stuffed around it. It works. I'd buy it again but put more thought into how I was going to stuff it....building the skeleton and stuffing it took me 3+ hours and I was dripping sweat by the end of it.

This thing is awesome. I stuffed it with our old bedsheets and 2 bags of clothes and it's about 30 pounds and sturdy. It's great for practice and my kids love beating the crap out of it when they're upset. Great dad hack because it takes a lot of the rough housing off of my back!

I recently purchased an MMA grappling dummy, and I'm thrilled with its performance. The durability of this dummy is outstanding.
