This review refers to the hard, swivel style case with keyboard, not the standard hinged one. It’s a SEMI-PROTECTIVE, iPad COVER, not a “drop-proof” case, with a Bluetooth enabled keyboard. The keyboard powers off after about 3 minutes without use, or close the clamshell case, BUT, unlike a lot of people are claiming, it is NOT a big deal. Hit the space bar, and it comes right back on. The battery life varies with use, but I have gone several weeks without charging without problems. It uses the same USB-C cable used to charge the newer 12.9” iPad Pro (which it is designed for. And if you install it properly (inserting from the bottom of the case, into the top, then pushing in the bottom and turning the locks 45 degrees), it holds the iPad very securely. The hinge is very stiff (a good thing), and with use does loosen a bit (not much), but should last a while; about as well as any other case would. I have no complaints, but then again, I also have REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS.

I wish Apple offered a keyboard like this. I much prefer this over the actual iPad keyboard that I purchased with my iPad. This keyboard is amazing and I love that I can flip my screen and use it like a notepad or like a laptop. I will never buy another Apple keyboard again after using this one!

Ihave had this keyboard for over 8 months. It is very sturdy and doesn't look shabby after getting thrown around in my work bag. I love the flexibility of the screen angles and swivels. I like the pen holder for the apple pen. I like the feel of the keys and the shortcuts. I don't like how the keyboard keeps turning itself off! It goes into a sleep mode and I can't wake it by touching the trackpad. I have to switch the keyboard off and then back on again. Also the tracking sometimes jumps or stops and I have to use the touchscreen to getback to where I want to be. I was happy with it until now I am not.

I have had this for a little over a year. I really like all the features but the wheels that hold the ipad in are not that great and my ipad keeps slipping out. Keeping my ipencil in the top helps a little to keep the ipad in place. It does take a couple of seconds for the bluetooth to connect. The battery lasts a really long time. The screen rotation is nice and the keyboard works great. I am probably going to have to replace it soon as I do not want to end up damaging my ipad. I will probably replace it with something else. If the wheels were bigger to help hold the ipad in place I would give this 5 stars.

Works well. Colors can be set to white light. Run with light turned off to make the battery last a LONG time between charges.

This will not hold your iPad for long after Two days it was falling right out onto the keyboard or luckily my lap. Not worth the money. You can get a better folio for less without keyboard which to be fair I found I didn’t really have a need for keyboard and if I did I can connect external Bluetooth keyboard which works better anyway. Idea is great but case that holds your iPad isn’t made well very cheap plastic with nothing on inside to protect back side from scratching.
