I do not like killing animals but, I also do not want a diseased rat biting me or one of my family members. Whenever I would see a rat in my house I would get one of these poison blocks and just put it on the floor next to the hole the rat came in and it would be gone the next day. A few days later we would always find a dead rat somewhere in our yard.     • This is keeping mice out of my cabin!!
We have many bait stations placed all around our cabin on the exterior. Every time we come to our cabin the bait stations are empty and there are no more mice inside our cabin. I know this because I have sticky traps placed at the doorways and under the sink cabinets and no more mouse poop in the cabin. We have tried other bait traps and poison but they never would eat it. These did help killed the mouse that ate my poor cactus. Umm I don’t know the flavor because I’m not a mouse or dr dolittle, so I gave it one star. But it does work to get rid of mice and shroos.

    • seems to work better just tossing them in to places the dogs cant reach
now we only have an occasional mouse after nearly being run out of the house by them.wife say thank you very much and that the sticky kind of mouse traps came in second

We bought a house in 2018 which was built in 1875. It had mouses that have probably been there for years. We tried every way to get rid of mice except poison because we have cats outside and none of them worked. Finally, we had had enough and decided to use poison. We have a persistent mouse problem in our pantry. They’ve managed to evade the minefield of mousetraps we left out after clearing out the pantry of anything not contained within hard plastic containers, but we were still finding mouse droppings and hearing some squeaking late at night. So, I knew I needed a more lethal measure. I bought these d con poison packets and placed them in four separate corners in the pantry and then put the remaining bag of poison in there as well. Surprisingly they did not eat the 4 poison packets I left in the corners, but wanted a bit of a challenge and gnawed a hole through the bag to eat directly from the source. The next day I found 3 empty wrappers from the poison pucks scattered around the pantry and one mouse stuck on a glue trap. That was about three days ago and I haven’t seen or heard any mouse activity since then. Overall I’m pretty happy with the product so far and I plan on rebuying these to place in the back of my pantry and other mouse prone zones to safeguard against any future mouse activity. ... show more

    • This stuff is amazing!! It works!
I cannot thank this company enough! We had porch mice that built a nest under our strawberries, and we had 5 mice, 1 mom and 4 pups running around! So I ordered this and the strawberry JE Eaton blocks and got rid of all of them in under a week! Somehow the mice got so comfortable with me that they would eat the Eaton block right out of my hand. So as soon as I got them comfortable, I set up the D con and lured them into the trap by leaving a trail of Apple eaton. Day 1 after they went crazy and ate the D-con, they went into a feeding frenzy in broad daylight and one fell onto a sticky trap. Day 2, they started coming out in daylight again but looked hungover and moving slower. Day 3, one crawled out slowly and slept in the open on the porch. Day 4, nothing. I highly recommend this, especially for porch mice before they get inside. And now I can enjoy my porch and strawberries again! ... show more
