Excellent quality jazz reeds especially when used with a quality jazz mouthpiece and ligature.
These are my "go-to" jazz saxophone reeds on my tenor alto and soprano saxes. The mouthpieces are all Syos pieces using a Syos ligature ring and they seal perfectly on the mouthpiece table resulting in a clear, even tone with absolutely no leaks. I have found that compared to other reeds there are fewer "bad" reeds in a box (unevenly cut) than pretty well all the other manufacturers and they seem to outlast other reeds as well which is surprising considering the rigorous use they get on a weekly basis (2 gigs a week and 2 hours practice everyday).

Great Reeds and easy to play
I recently got a Select Jazz D7M Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece, and I tried to use the reeds I had been using on my other mouthpieces, but realized they were too hard for me on this mouthpiece. I ended up purchasing some Select Jazz 2H Reeds, which were still a bit too hard, and finally got the 2M reeds, which were perfect, while the strength is up to the player, these reeds have great sound quality and are easy to play. Reed Seed!
I've been playing on synthetic reeds for the past 10 years. When my brother suggested that I try these cane reeds. They're some of the best reeds I've played on in a long time. They sound great, long lasting, play well and cost less than synthetic reeds. SOLD!!!! BTW be sure to pick the right strength for comfort and best performance!
