I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because the description dose clearly describe the low number of hrs of operation and it is a pretty good deal for what you get. Just be ready to change batteries often. When I first turned power on I was impressed with the brightness but that didn't last long. Upon further inspection I discovered that the 20 orange LEDs are all being driven in parallel by two CR2032 (3V) batteries which are hooked up in series. This means 6V on the LEDs. That's way too much voltage for orange LEDs and there is no series resistor to limit the current. This means that the batteries are being heavily loaded initially and the LEDs are being over driven. The result is immediate drain on the batteries to about 2.7V each and reduced life of the LEDs. I ended up cutting the battery pack off and installing a series resistor (27 ohms) and my own 5V power supply. They work much better now. I gave it a 1 star for battery life but 5 star for value for the money since you get 12 CR2032 batteries (10 pack costs $6) and 6 strands of 20 orange LEDs each. I guess I should have read the reviews and product description a little more carefully because I was not aware that these lights will only last about 24 hours or less. I used them on my Fall wreath that sits above my fireplace mantel, and they stopped working on Day #2. I was very disappointed because I have been using these same types of lights on my other decorative wreaths for the past several years, and those other lights have lasted throughout the entire holiday season. Who wants to replace batteries every other day?? Not me! ... show more

good price and easy to operate. but one would not light up after I use it for a couple of minutes. I am not sure the quality of the others, but not worth returning. Updated: I have just used the two left to decor my daughters mini christmas tree. They worked amazingly longer hours than I expected. I am so surprised. So I have to update my review to make fair. I was looking for some lights that would be perfect for the fall season and found these lights in Orange. They are very pretty but the downside that I found was that 2 of the 6 strands I received were so badly tangled up that in trying to untangle them, they stopped working. So at least 4 are good. It would be a BIG help for others if when these strands arrive, they are wrapped around a spool. That would help somewhat with the tangling issue. ... show more

I love these little strings of lights except for the battery life. I used them for some Halloween decorations where I needed to have them on all day. Most of them ran out of battery life after two days. Plus, after one day they were half as bright because they were loosing power. I wish they lasted longer because they were so cute and perfect for what I needed them for. ... show more

Great deal. Product as described and did the job! Just what i needed - small, manageable fairy lights in Tech High School orange for some ugly front yard boulevard bushes - to draw attention to my graduates lawn sign. Looks good to me! Congrats 2020 Grads!!!!

I purchased these little orange lights to put in glass pumpkins. They barely lighted up and only lasted a few days when I turned them on for 4 hrs. I put two lights in a small pumpkin and you could barely see the lights. They might work for a a one night event, but again they’re not bright.

The lights themselves are pretty and what I'd expected. The problem is the battery life and the battery casing. You have to use a tiny screwdriver to open every case individually! It's such a tedious process compared to what it could and should be. It should be a slide type or pop off the back, but a screwdriver needed for this is ridiculous. There are 6 to open. I don't think I'll even bother with it next year, my window to return is closed. ... show more
