Well, it's not high end tech, so you get no bass tones whatsoever. That said, for the $, it is a huge improvement over laptop speakers alone. If you want better sound for a desktop setup, just pony up for the Bose or similar. These speakers do a terrific job of amplifying and seemingly even clarifying peopleโ€™s voices. Now when I listen to people on Zoom calls, I can easily hear and understand every word they say. When I had my previous Logitech Z150 speakers the sound was muddy and I couldnโ€™t hear voices clearly. These Cyber Acoustic CA-2014 speakers are perfect for Zoom calls, podcasts, working from home, and anything that involves listening to people speaking. My only (very minor) complaint is that the blue LED indicator light that shows when the speakers are turned on is way too bright. I had to tape a little piece of dark paper over the bulb to cut the brightness down to a reasonable level. ... show more

While the sound is good - these were advertised when I bought them - as being powered through the USB port on a PC. They instead, came with an AC adapter - so needed to add an additional power strip near my computer to supply power to the speakers.

A "GREAT ADDITION" for me-hearing impaired. I can't even hear my tv enough to make out what is being said @ 100% volume!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a "SOUND TRANSMITTER"/MICROPHONE under the tv speaker & a line over to my sofa to connect the speakers. this brings the sound "DIRECTLY" to my ears!!!!
