I am so happy this worked! I have a Public bike with a Shimano Nexus internal hub and an InStep trailer. Since this product is Thule, I wasn't sure if it would work for the InStep, but it does! It was pretty hard to find any info about this issue on the Internet and my bike store hadn't seen this problem before.
