Sizing is exactly as size chart describes. Wish I’d gone with XS, but I sized up and got a Small due to all the comments saying this ran small. I think it runs exactly right. I have lots of extra fabric on the belts, had to cinch them in as tight as possible to get it to fit right. Cute, bright colors. I like that it is slightly cropped, the shorter length makes it much more comfortable when sitting in a kayak. ... show more

I am petite, weighing under 105lbs and usually wear extra small. I ordered a small (which was a size up) after reading the reviews, but returned that size for a medium because the small was uncomfortably tight even at the loosest setting. The life jacket looks to be good quality, but when I tried it on, the fit was awkward for an adult female. I bought a small and you should note the upper buckle is not adjustable- it was a very snug fit in the bust. But more importantly, the life jacket was very short and not even an appropriate option for an 5"9" female adult. Perhaps for a better fit for a petite or youth. ... show more

While this life jacket is fine and serves it's purpose, it's weirdly short on my torso. I am 5 ft 6in and about 125lbs, and it fits well other than the odd length.
