Scanned ok, so it did the job it was needed for. This was the first time I'd used this type of product. Backstory: I was a part of a Class Action Law Suit where they decided paying by e-check was the way to go. I was instructed to just print it out on plain paper which seemed pretty jenky to me and after a couple of tries, turns out I was right. No reputable institution was going to cash that trash. So, a new printer, a package of blank check paper and a package of this ink later I was finally able to get my money. Since I had never used this before I was sure to read thru the reviews so I could learn from others mistakes. One thing I was sure to do was to use the syringe to extract as much of the regular ink as possible from the cartridge I was using and then I powered thru the remaining ink that was left in there by wasting a bunch of paper printing nonsense over and over again until the printing was coming out faded and the printer cried uncle. Only then did I fill the cartridge with this magnetic ink. And then before I printed my check, I again printed a bunch of nonsense pages now in the right ink to ensure it wouldn't be at all diluted by the previous ink. It may have been overkill but if I was sent home again without having cashed my check I would have lost my mind. Btw, if you use HP cartridges, the access spot to remove/add ink is located on top, just off center, under the label. The easiest way to find it is to lightly drag the syringe needle along the top, feeling for the little depression and then just poke straight thru the label. Good luck. I recently purchased the MICR magnetic check ink for inkjet printers, hoping to save some money by opting for th cheaper option. Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a costly mistake. I used this ink to print all my employees' holiday checks and bonuses, only to find out that every single one of them was unable to cash their checks because the machines couldn't read the ink. The frustration and embarrassment my employees faced were unimaginable. They had to endure being denied in front of a line full of other customers during the busy holiday rush. This not only caused them significant inconvenience but also disrupted their holiday plans and family celebrations. Imagine the disappointment of not being able to enjoy the holiday cheer because you have no money due to faulty ink. The disruption this caused was immense. My employees had to spend additional time and effort to resolve the issue, which could have been avoided if the product had worked as advertised. The holiday season is supposed to be a time of joy and relaxation, but instead, it turned into a period of stress and frustration for my team. Given the significant inconvenience and disruption caused by this product, I demand proper compensation, refund and working replacement ink. This experience has been a major letdown, and I urge others to think twice before purchasing this ink. It is not worth the risk or the hassle. (I purchased a MICR tester to test the ink and nothing passed) ... show more

    • This is the best MICR Ink!
This is a repeat order every two months! I own my own business and I use this ink to create my payroll checks and they couldn't turn out better. Some advice, if you are planning to fill your own cartridge, especially a cartridge that didn't have MICR originally, I would create a page ready for print but make the color of the page black so get all of the ink out and then once you fill the cartridge print. Couple more black pages to get the ink working properly! ... show more
