stone works fine other than i should have gotten one that wasnt white, sauce stains it on first use. the wooden pull is better suited for fire wood, mine warped in a week an was useless. an no i didnt soak it in water to clean it, just wiped with a soapy cloth an then rinse an wiped dry.

Well built and sturdy. People who complain about strange smells, etc., are probably "seasoning" the stone as if it were cast iron a/o washing it with soap and water. Never use soap (just like on cast iron). Just scrape it off and if necessary use plain water and a plastic scrubber of some wort. The stone will gradually adsorb some of the oils from your doughs, but you never grease the stone. I bake bread as well as pizzas on stones. Just sprinkle cornmeal on the peel and the dough will slide off onto the stone, (cornmeal acts like little ball bearings). If the stone is pre-heated the dough/crust won't stick. Now for the bad/good news. Bad: The version that i ordered showed the pizza cutter with a stainless steel blade. The previous version was a single piece of bamboo supposedly sharpened enough to cut the pizza. People had complained about it splintering and becoming dull, so i specially ordered the "new" version. But it arrived with the old bamboo blade. I messaged the seller and they responded a few hours later. Good: They explained that because the kit changeover was so recent, some of the old ones continued to be shipped out. They refunded the full amount AND told me to keep the entire kit as an apology for the mix-up. AND since they are now currently out of stock for 3-4 weeks, they will give me a 25% of coupon (good until the end of the year) towards the purchase of an additional full kit, with the new stainless blade. Pretty incredible customer service IMO.

I got this for my hubby who loves to cook pizza on the grill. He loves it. The stone isn't as heavy as our old one, despite being larger, and having a rack to hold it is wonderful. The peeler is very sturdy and easy to use/clean, though the handle could be a bit longer, that might make it too unwieldy. The cutter is amazing and very sharp, keep the blade guard packaging for storage! The only drawback is the stone can stick to the crusts a bit or if sauce/cheese leaks on it, it's a bit difficult to clean up. Overall great value, great gift, and very useful plus well made. Super pleased.

A really good set, especially good if considering its value. Yes, after a few uses, the stone will get all "stained" and burned, but there should be no surprises there, it is a white stone for pizza making. This is not a problem, it is its nature and just adds character to it.

I ordered this for a pizza party we were having ,it arrived on thursday ,party was on saturday and the peel was cracked almost into two pieces. I called Cuzi customer service to ask if they could recommend a good wood glue to repair it. Adam at Cuzi asked if I could send a photo ,then said to keep the whole set and a new set would be sent to me for my trouble. The new set arrived on tuesday!! He also added any good wood glue will work to repair the broken peel , and he was correct. quality of the product is very good ,quality of customer service is SUPERB! I highly recommend this product and this company. The stone makes super pizza on the grill.

Haven't used product yet, but am concerned that safety guard on pizza cutter doesn't fit very well and keeps falling off. Could post a potential hazzard when reaching into drawer, especially for children.
