Sturdy looking casting, very rough textures. Needs disassembly to diegrind clearance in quick release hinge. Handwheel looks cheap, but should work.     • Add this standard part to your chop saw setup
Some chop saws come with this sort of clamp. If not, you can add it with this kit. If you bolt it to your table, you can use it as a general purpose clamp, not just for use with a chop saw. My kit came complete and even had an extra mounting screw. The kit is heavy, about 10 pounds in total, not 1.3 kg. This is a good clamp, although it does seem to be a bit pricey for what it is. It's easy to use and easy to set up. It will hold your item well. I did need to put the anchor on a small block, otherwise the slide plate is at an angle and the pressure won't be directly on center. I feel it could be more accurate out of the box.
