    • Easy Setup and Reliable Performance

    • An absolute disaster
This device is a buggy mess. Where do I even begin? The outer screen will freeze and show incorrect time and battery percentage. Only a reboot will fix this I do this at least once a day. Had a fun experience when the phone froze while an alarm was sounding forcing me to remove the battery to disengage it. Alarms will randomly turn off in the settings and not sound despite confirming "alarm set" when the alarm is manually engaged or first created. Texting is a nightmare because the phone has incredibly poor ability to interpret the keyboard. It will skip letters when i very clearly felt the button "pop" under my thumb causing predictive text to scramble and the phone will not recognize spaces so words run together and create nonsense. Sometimes the phone will do the opposite and register 2 or 3 presses from one press which then, again, creates nonsense. The phone will receive texts and show no notification only for the new text to appear when I open my inbox. Multiple people have tried to call me and my phone (in signal) did not ring, did not display a call, and did not display a missed call. People thought I was ignoring them because I wasn't receiving the call at all. ... show more

    • Can't beat Verizon prepaid phones!

I've had a prepaid phone all my life and this last flip phone upgrade was the easiest. The phone is really well built compared to the last generation and the interface is even easier to use. The new phone did come complete with a real 110v plug in charger, battery, 5g SIM card, and flip phone, for such a great value price. All I needed to do was swap out SIM cards to my current activated one, and everything updated instantly on the phone and Verizon's website. The one thing it did not do (very typical with prepaid,) is switch over phone numbers. This wasn't a problem because, entering the names and numbers is so much easier with this phone, and took about a minute per contact. I can't say much about battery life due to it being new, but after two hours on the phone, it really didn't reduce my percentage very much. I will never own a smart phone for many reasons, but with dumb phones as great as this one, I feel like I've upgraded substantially from the last generation I got four years ago. You can't go wrong with a Verizon prepaid plan, and after having one for my phone and portable internet for decades, I have almost never had one issue. ... show more

    • Have purchased many times
I've been using this kind of phone for many years. I got a smart phone that only lasted 90 months, so I came back to the low cost flip phone. It's all I need.

    • Phone is Great, Operating System is Garbage
This phone feels awesome in the hand, has large buttons that are satisfying to click, a flashlight, and USB-C charging. It actually feels high quality for the price. All great things. However, the operating system on this phone is the worst operating system I have ever used. It has KaiOS, which is clunky, slow, full of bloatware and games you cannot uninstall, and for someone looking for a simple phone that just calls and texts, this phone will be obnoxious to use. KaiOS is also very under supported, there aren't many resources out there on modifying it for this phone and it's not very customizable like android. When I first got the phone, every time I opened a message thread it would have a popup reminding me that I could hold the "OK" button to use speech to text. The BIGGEST problem with the OS is how slow it is, because of the aforementioned details. There's an issue called "double typing" where when you press a key, it actually registers it twice because the phone lags. This isn't a rare occurrence either, this happens every other word I type. The only way I get around this is by using speech to text or predictive text which helps. If you type slow it might not even be an issue. There aren't many phones like this available unfortunately, this one is nice for the USB-C charging but that is it. Look somewhere else. ... show more
