This setup works as I expected it to, I already had a servo motor however, I wanted the needle positioner so I was forced to upgrade. There are only a couple of things I am not happy with, first thing is that the belt guard was not really designed that well as you can see by the picture. It is very limited. I wish it come with a half circle guard like my previous Consew servo motor had because then I could actually use it and they are not interchangeable. The second thing is that this motor is very loud compared to my previous one. The motor I had on here before was almost silent and they are the same ratings as far as torque. Other than that it seems like a great product so far and it was very simple to install. Only took about an hour from start to finish. ... show more

    • Easy to install.
I'm a 66 year old woman and I was able to install this with no problem. I installed this on my 950 Bernina which is a semi-industrial. The needle stop did not fit this machine. I am very pleased with this especially over the clutch motor!

Great product! Using it on a Juki 1541s and it sews two pieces of 5oz leather together with ease! Lots of power, and quiet! If you plan to use the needle position sensor you must use the 75mm pulley that comes with it. I had a smaller pulley that I wanted to use, but found out that’s why the needle position sensor wasn’t working properly. Switched back to the 75mm and it worked! ... show more

Instructions are not existent. Took way too long to get the needle positioner working. Then it didn’t work. Now its working again. I dont have a lot of confidence in this so far. It might be ok?

    • Very nice addition to my Juki 1541
I needed a longer belt than what came stock with my machine, but after getting that I couldn’t be happier with this motor, vfd and needle positioner.
