  • Great microwave for all the things microwaves are good for.
Style: Microwave
We bought this small microwave to replace a GE SpaceMaker II that was chipping the paint inside. Actually this was the second SpaceMaker we'd owned as the first one that came with the house. died about a month after moving in. Not very happy with GE quality control in general actually, and the fact that the bloody cabinets in the house seem to have been built around the bloody microwave speaks volumes to the stupid proprietary nature of that model. Anyway, bought this nice little Cuisinart to replace it. Built a shelf in the space where the old microwave had been and had enough space either side of the new Cuisinart to store a few cutting boards as well. The unit functions as it should. We really only warm stuff up in it, not really microwave chefs, so defrost and reheat are our primary uses. Solid unit for the money. Door is not as flimsy as other units in this price range. Overall, very happy with it. ... show more

  • Good for a small space
Style: Microwave
We had a small space and this works well. I wish it was a tad more powerful, but the controls are easy. I like a door pull better than the noisy button to open. The downside it is a little lightweight so when you do open the door it can move slightly.

  • Nice compact size
Style: Microwave
We downsized from a very large microwave to this. It’s working great, no issues with the size or heating. The only downside is that the whole thing shifts when the door is pulled open and closed. We purchased a rubber drawer liner to put under it to prevent it from moving.

  • Buttons are Very Hard tho Activate on Controla
Style: Microwave
either the device itself or the build quality between machines is terrible because the control panel on the machine I received is extremely hard to activate by pressing – so hard the machine will move before it before a function is activated. Probably the last thing I would expect on a microwave oven is to have a control panel that looks like every other that is so difficult to press that sometimes the machine slides before I can get a depression that activates the function. This includes the start button and every number or special function on the control panel. Sometimes I’m actually forced to use my fingernail which is not super long, but I try to keep in shape to make the press or just won’t happen. I purchased this microwave because it was the smallest that seem to have full functionality that I could find , I got it specifically for a bedroom that’s on the second floor so I don’t have to travel all the way down into the kitchen when I want to use it. I would’ve returned this if it wasn’t such a pain to Box a large item For return. I expect much better from Cuisinart. Who’s K cup coffee maker and convection oven sre terrific. after I took this out of the box and placed it on a mini fridge in a bedroom that I like to keep fully functioned I was extremely disappointed and never would recommend this to anyone unless I got a lemon, but somehow I can’t imagine that with today’s manufacturing techniques, one would be so different from the rest. Otherwise, all functions work well, and the only other negative about this machine is that there’s no sensor for sensor cooking. If you’re a senior with arthritis – not saying I am but just saying that anybody with any physical limitations should stay far away from this machine. Actually, I think anybody should stay far away from this machine – it’s terrible! Shame on you, Cuisinart! ... show more

  • Beware, dimensions shown are wrong!! The actual size of the width is only 17.00W
Style: Microwave
I ordered this microwave because I like Cuisinart products. I had an opening made to fit the dimensions that were on this site, 14.25Dx19.38Wx11/38H. When I received the box, the same dimensions were on the box!! It wasn't until I went to install it, that I realized it was much smaller than the dimensions given. I now have an opening space of an inch on both sides of the microwave. Rather than return it I tried to get in touch with Cuisinart to see if they had a Trim kit, to cover the spaces. The person I spoke with had no idea why the dimensions given were wrong. I tried to call Amazon, i received the same response. Amazon was nice enough to try to find me another microwave that would fit in the opening I had made, they couldn't find one. If I can't find a trim kit to go around, or even just on the sides, of this microwave, I'm going to have to return it and hope I can find another, or have carpenter come back to change the opening. ... show more
