I absolutely love these Cuisinart Buffet Servers. I purchased both the 11” Round, and 2 of the 12” Rectangular. They are far more useful than a traditional chafing dish, and I like that I can simply use tea light candles instead of icky Sterno. Overall I like them; bought 3 rectangular serving dishes since I generally serve 1 meat dish and 2 hot side dishes along with a large stainless steel salad bowl. My only disappointment was that we often have dinner parties in our backyard and if there is any breeze whatsoever the tea lights blow out. My husband had to come up with some creation to stop that from happening. I guess you could create a wind block but that is not visually appealing so we took foil cupcake tin liners and adapted them to surround the outside of the candle holder enough to prevent the breeze from blowing out the tea candle. This would not be a problem if you are serving inside, but a great solution if you are serving outside. ... show more

These are two pretty much duplicates of bigger Cuisinart stock pots with a fancy, lid. Each one holds about a cup and it comes in a two pack. They actually look like they'd be better used as containers for sauce or a dip. Still, they're built to the usual Cuisinart quality, so they're durable and pretty heavy duty. I've had my nieces play with them, I've used them to hold ice for a cold shot, they've acted as a cupcake or a bread mold, and a couple more. Each time, they've done their job and simply lasted. I did season them like every other piece of stainless in my kitchen, which may lend to the durability and "non-stickness" I've experienced. I don't see any possible issues with them, except for the want of something larger. Believe the other reviews when they say they're smaller than they look in the pictures. ... show more

This item was just perfect for my sons HS graduation party. I didn’t want to use those disposable ones with the wire rack. It worked like a charm, very elegant. I will buy a few more, also it holds more than I thought it would. I had originally ordered three from another maker on Amazon, after a week and a half they told me they were out of stock and it would take 3 months to get them! So I canceled that and went on a hunt, I only had days to find something else. I didn’t add a photo because I was so busy hosting the event, silly me I forgot to take ANY pics 🤦🏽♀️ we had a great time though. Thank you Cuisinart !!! These came just in time. ❤️😊 ... show more

    • Good for toaster oven
I'm a college student and I have found these useful for roasting small quantities of vegetables in my toaster oven. You can eat right out of them, which cuts down on energy and dishes. I like to put a little more olive oil than necessary in there and roast through a few servings (just cutting up more and putting them in and it gets better every time with built-up salt and sriracha sauce) before washing. There are a few recipes out there I have come across which only yield two cupcakes, for which these are absolutely perfect.These can also be useful for really small tart/pies and warming up soup. It's not obvious how small they are until you get them though. They are a tad larger than a 1 cup dry measure cup, and in the Q&A (this appeared after I bought it), it says that they can hold about 8oz, which sounds about right. I had sort of been interested in a larger device, but these are good for their own uses. ... show more
