I needed a small inexpensive desk for my back bedroom so I bought this CubiCubi 32 inch desk on one of Amazon's Flash Sales for around $24 -what a great bargain for me. It arrived by UPS and while the outside of the box on one corner was pushed in a little bit, there was no damage to the table inside because they put plastic corner guards on the table plus styrofoam around the table as well so there was no damage to the table or components whatso ever. Before I bought this table, I read the reviews becuase a desk table like this - at this low price - how good can it really be? I read quite a number of reviews that stated the screws were miss-marked and they used the longer screws as the instructions and it punched holes in the top of the table surface, and then I read many really great reviews about this table desk. As you can see from my photos the screws are few and clearly marked and the instructions are very simplistic to read. It only took me about 10 minutes to put this entire desk together and it looks great and is quite sturdy too. I suggest to only use the allen wrench they provide and only hand tighten the screws - do not use power drils or power screw drivers because you will over-torque the screws. This is one of the best bargains I've ever picked up from Amazon and now I watch their Flash Sale EVERY day. THE BACKSTORY I had ordered a desk to work from home. My original plan was to get one with collapsible legs so when the world stops being crazy, I can stuff it in a closet. The one I originally ordered (from "Halter" - name has now changed to "Zinus" - Zinus Mare Folding Desk) arrived VERY late, VERY broken, in a VERY ripped-up box. It clearly had arrived broken to another customer, who returned it because it was broken, and then they sent it on to me. Horrible experience. But, I tried again. This desk was cheaper, came in 2 days, is sturdy, and absolutely gorgeous. It's the perfect size and is so convenient to put my work laptop, home laptop, separate monitor, keyboard, mouse, some notebooks, pens, markers, coffee (essential), and still have surface room to maneuver and work on. THE ASSEMBLY I deducted a single star from assembly because there was one part in the instructions that could have been labeled better so I wouldn't have had to undo all my screws and then switch the legs once I realized some holes didn't match up for the final step. So just watch for that when you assemble, and you should be fine! Assembly itself was super easy. It came with an Allen wrench, which is all you need! Each screw type came with a spare (which I appreciate). It's constructed really well -- all of the holes lined up easily so the screws went in very easily. PROS - Gorgeous to look at - Very sturdy - Easy to assemble (just pay close attention to which leg goes on which side -- it does matter) - Perfect size - Came in 2 days - Was packaged well (no dents or scratches here!) - Great price ... show more

    • A good basic table style desk that looks nice
My home wasn't really set up for working from home. But things happen and working from home became my normal. For a while I tried working from my reading chair but that didn't work well. Not for a 10 hour workday anyway. Then I set up a folding table to work from. It was a big step up. But as a folding table it wasn't as sturdy as I wanted. The table bounced if I typed a lot. So I started looking for a replacement. When I chose this table it had a few things I wanted. It was a good size, the right height and wide enough to easily fit two monitors. And unlike a lot of similar, slightly cheaper tables, I could get this in a few days. It was super easy to assemble. I've put together my share of furniture and this was easier and faster than most. When I purchased it I knew it had a couple extras that I wasn't too interested in. A hook and a side pocket thing. But in all honesty those have become super convenient to have. Headphones with a mic are now an essential thing with Zoom meetings. So the hook is great for hanging those from. And the pocket is much more convenient for papers and odds and ends than I expected. The only thing I would change would be to make the top a little thicker to give it more weight. It still gets a little bounce like the folding table if I'm typing particularly fast. It makes the monitor shake slightly. But honestly I'm just being picky. It's a great desk and the price was great. I'd definitely buy it again. ... show more
