This scissor has a very smooth action and easily cuts hair, the first snip. It will also cut you if not careful. The finger and thumb holes are a might cumbersome because putting fingers and thumb in are easy, but taking them out is more awkward. Still I recommend these scissors.

When I saw the description of rhese scissors as 5” I assumed they meant the blade length, not the length of the whole scissors. Frankly, these are too small to be of much use, and the finger holes are too small for even my fingers. They are nice and sharp, though.
