I got it because it’s supposed to be waterproof but it’s now just locked up and won’t open! I’m super pissed off! So now I’ve gotta get some cutters to get into my own deck box! Would NOT RECOMMEND, EVER!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I was expecting these to be bigger than what they are. This really seems it can only be used to lock a locker. Even then not sure how well it would keep someone out bc the wire seems like it can be cut easily.

Pair of locks included. Easy to set combination on first lock and then dial to release shackle. However, after working ok for 5 months on an outdoor storage unit under a carport, I can not open the lock now to gain access. The cable seems pliant, not stuck or frozen. The combination dial moves freely. My chosen combination does not open the lock now and there doesn't seem to be any way to reset back to zero to clear or to set another combination. I'll probably have to cut the cable. There is another lock included, so I may try that one, hopefully with more success. These work good for what I need but kinda was annoying to have the numbers on both sides not sure why that is designed like that when both sides are very similar. I took nail polish and marked the side I wanted to be the front or where my code was so I didn't have to guess or put in 2 codes every time . Make the front otherwise there good locks for what i needed ... show more

This lock is by no means for real security but for deterrence from a nosy person or someone looking for an easy opportunity. It's steel cable is thin and I expect that it could be defeated with a heavy screwdriver or small pry bar but for what I use it for, to prevent a rear yard gate lock from being opened by a stranger, it does the job.
