This review is for the Cricut Value Glitter Iron-On (Color - White, Size - 10in x 8ft roll). I received a free taxable sample of this glitter heat transfer vinyl to review in my search for a glitter vinyl I could use to personalize graduation ribbon leis and gifts. The glitter iron-on roll is minimally packaged in a 1 ⅞” x 1 ⅞” x 10 ⅛” branded and decorated cardboard box that reduces package costs and also makes it easy to store. There is no cardboard tube in the center of the roll such that the 10” x 8’ sheet of glitter iron-on vinyl and transparent backer weighs 285 grams. In terms of appearance, there is a good amount of glitter across the white-colored vinyl without being completely saturated with glitter. There is also a thicker and more cushiony feel to this glitter iron-on vinyl as compared to standard heat transfer vinyl. As tested, it was fairly easy to cut an appropriate length to fit my standard grip cutting mat and dial up the pre-configured cutting settings for my mirrored design. I was initially apprehensive that the thicker iron-on vinyl might be more difficult to see the cut lines on and weed, but weeding was fairly straightforward and easy. Applying the cut design was easy, and I like that I was able to look up the manufacturer’s recommended temperature and time settings adjusted for my heat-transfer material and base material. The applied designs have held up quite nicely so far with no peeling, discoloration, or cracking. As per the manufacturer, the applied designs can be machine washed and tumbled dried inside out, and I have been machine washing inside out on cold and hang drying with no issues. All in all, this is a great quality glitter iron-on vinyl that cuts, weeds, and applies quite nicely. I recommend this as a good cost-effective option for personalizing items with your own glitter design. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Cricut Glitter Iron-On in gold for a bridal party project and it was perfect! I used it on satin robes, and the results were stunning—the gold glitter was super sparkly and the shade paired beautifully with the teal robes.
