    • Blades don't stay in at all/UPDATE: 7/11/2023
No matter what I do, the blades won't stay in. Locked or unlocked, the blades just fall out immediately. I asked my husband to check it to see if I was doing something wrong, and the same thing happened with him. I have been able to use it about twice before the blade fell out. All other times, the blade never stayed in at all. The reason I bought it was because the reviews were so good, but I do see there were about 4 or 5 reviews reporting the same issue. I'm returning it, but, since the reviews were so much higher than the other craft knives I looked at and only a very small number had the same issue in having the blades fall out, I'll probably take a chance on a second one. UPDATE: I returned the first one in February and received a replacement within a day or 2. I have now had that one for 5 months, and it works perfectly. So the first one I had was not typical. There were a few other reviewers who had the same problem, so they do need to do a little more quality control before they send them out, but, if you get a good one, it will work perfectly for a long time. I'm glad I took the chance on a second one. I use this one several times a week. ... show more

    • A really great Xacto knife
Such a good product from cricut. Great size and grip , blades hold up very well and it has become my new favorite. Blades are rather expensive to replace but they have lasted long then my regular #11 ones from Xacto.

I am so happy with this knife I had to write a review. I have used other cutting knives and none have been as comfortable to hold. The blade is really sharp and easily went through the wood in my book nook kit where I needed to make the hole in a bunch of pieces large enough to incorporate the wires for the lights. The media could not be loaded. La hoja de la cuchilla no se sostiene se cae o se queda en el mat, solicité remplazo como para darle otro oportunidad considerando tantas valoraciones positivas. Las cuchillas cortan muchísimo, es perfecto pero no se sostienen solas en el lápiz.
