As an avid snorkeler I am well familiar with the Cressi brand. I own several Cressi products already including masks, snorkels and fins. You really can’t go wrong betting on Cressi. This mask is relatively lightweight and has a single, flat plate glass lens. I own another Cressi with more of a wraparound lens as you can see in the photo (top most mask). I prefer the single flat plate of this mask. Very similar to my preferred mask from a different brand. The viewing area of this mask is not overly large as compared to the TUSA mask at the lower left which provides a somewhat larger viewing area. Really a matter of personal preference. I ordered this mask from Cressi hoping the nose size would be a little larger. I need a large mask with a larger nose cup. The nose on the TUSA is slightly larger and more comfortable fitting for my gigantic head and nose. For a normal sized head/nose this mask from Cressi would be exceptionally comfortable. Even with the slightly smaller nose cup I found the lightweight of this mask very comfortable, even on the bridge of my nose. I also find the stap releases on the Cressi much easier and smoother than my TUSA. Very easy to release and adjust as you can see in the photo, just squeeze the top and bottom buttons and the strap loosens easily. In the photo you can also see the mounting of the snorkel quick release along the left side of the mask. As for the snorkel, it is one of the always excellent Cressi dry snorkels. For those unfamiliar a dry snorkel seals the snorkel and doesn’t allow water (in excess) to enter the snorkel if you submerge in under water. For those of us who like to dive down and subsurface snorkel this is really helpful. You can see the top of the snorkel in the picture. The black float behind the plastic grill floats up and seals the air hole by the red arrow. Once above the surface the float unseals and allows air to flow in the direction of the yellow arrow. A typical rental snorkel is really just an unsealed tube that floods with water should the tip submerge or waves enter it. This often panics the snorkeler and forces you to blow like a whale to clear it. The Cressi snorkels all have a very flexible and comfortable mouthpiece. Really an excellent combination of mask and snorkel, as I said you really can’t go wrong with Cressi. I’ve had all my other Cressi products for years without a problem, I would expect no less from this set.

Cressi is a great brand, I've always had good luck with their products. In the past few years I've experimented a lot with generic brand full-face masks. Some of the generic masks make disturbing mistakes, such as a small snorkel diameter and not enough air exchange, which make me nervous whether someone is going to get enough air or breathe in their own carbon dioxide. Cressi would never make a mistake like that. This is an excellent seal around the face, and the strap is easy to adjust. On the sizing - this is a size 4 (out of 5) skirt width, and a size 4 (out of 5) nose width. As a 6 foot tall male, I wonder if the larger size would have worked better for me. It's a nice effective fit on me, but it does seem the skirt cuts off my peripheral a little bit. On the mask - it's intended to completely block off nostril breathing, which also helps prevent the mask from fogging. But on me, the nose is form-fitting. It doesn't push my nose, but it contours my nose perfectly, which is a little distracting. That might be the intended / perfect fit, but I hope I have the opportunity to try a size 5 to see if I like it better. This mask works perfect for my wife (5'8) and my teenage daughter. So the mask does have some flexibility, even though they have much smaller faces and noses. Overall easy thumbs up, just pay attention to the sizing chart.

This snorkel set is very nice. I love that it has a dry top design, meaning that when waves are crashing over, only a tiny bit of water gets in, which is good for me because I get a little anxious when I have to expel a bunch of water from the top. It also only lets a little bit of water get in if you fully submerge it. I will never buy another snorkel that does not have a dry top design. The goggles are also nice. They fit snug but are flexible enough that they're not uncomfortable. The viewing range is not the broadest that I've seen but works well enough that I'm completely satisfied with it.

I know pink, particularly fluorescent pink, isn't everyone's favorite color, but I love that this set is so bright. I can see where it is in my suitcase, or the bottom of my beach bag, and I am confident that either piece would be easy to spot if I accidentally dropped it in the ocean while snorkeling. I'm impressed that the mask is real tempered glass, and both the mask and snorkel appear to be very high quality. The snorkel is more than just a simple one, like shops rent to tourists, and it has a splash guard (so water doesn't come in through the top) and a bendable silicone section, so it can easily fit around your face. When I wear the mask, the silicone edges create a tight seal, and I like that the viewing area is unbroken by a nose median, and has great visibility. This is for an upcoming vacation, so I don't yet know how this will hold up over time, but I have been testing it out in my hot tub, and both the mask and snorkel are working perfectly.
