This Cressi mask and snorkeling kit offers a really good value for someone looking to pickup a snorkeling kit. This is perfect for traveling where you don't want to worry about renting hardware. The gear holds up to the Cressi name, with high quality plastic molding as well as tight seals on the face mask. The mask fits my face well (adult) and spread out the weight of the mask well across my cheek bones. It should be really comfortable with the strap adjusted to your face. The lenses are tempered glass, with each eye having its own section. The sizing is large for good visibility and the glass itself also helps keeping your view clear. Another advantage of glass is it doesn't scratch easily, so it will hold up well in the sand. The kit includes a simple carrying case that keeps all the parts together, and being fabric helps the gear air out so it doesn't get any buildup in storage. As with most goggle sets make sure you acclimate the mask for the water temperature to help reduce fogging and consider an anti-fog spray. Most goggle sets are all pretty similar for fog resistance, it's more of how you use them on if they fog up or not. These should work out well with proper care. The snorkel fits inside my mouth well and the valve on the side is more open than other designs. My older Cressi kits had a shield around the valve that prevented it from getting knocked around, but small pebbles could get trapped in it causing some leaks underwater. I got this snorkel mask for my trip to Hawaii. It comes in a clear plastic bag with a hard plastic handle. The view from the mask is very wide and expansive, and the sides of the snorkel don’t really block any part of your vision. The mask is super comfortable to wear, and it fits tight onto my face. It worked really well and I didn’t have to readjust it to make it fit well and stop water from coming in. Even when swimming, the mask was still stable and tight on my face. It feels very waterproof, and it can keep water out for extended periods of time. This Cressi mask and snorkel kit has been a great experience so far. The mask fits wonderfully and forms an excellent seal with no leaks or pressure points. It’s very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods, and the wide-view “big eyes” design really does provide a great field of view while snorkeling. The dry snorkel works well at keeping water out during normal use. If you submerge quickly, a small amount of water can get in, but it’s easy to clear and never felt like a problem. Breathing feels about as natural as you can expect from a snorkel. There’s always some level of restriction with any snorkel, but this one feels comfortable and well designed. Build quality is excellent. The silicone skirt, straps, and snorkel valve all feel high quality and soft against the skin, while still being sturdy. The snorkel itself is made of solid plastic, with good flexibility at the mouthpiece so it fits comfortably. Everything feels well made and durable. We’ve used this set in the pool and plan to use it in the ocean as well. It also comes with a convenient carrying bag, which makes it easy to pack and transport. At around $70, it’s priced in line with other high-quality snorkel kits, and based on the fit, comfort, and construction, I think it’s a good value. I would definitely recommend it. The quality of this snorkel and mask set is really very excellent. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the materials are and how well it's finished. It’s very easy to adjust, and creates a tight, reliable seal around the eyes and nose without discomfort. Most masks I've had in the past are rubber, and rather hard. The silicone material Cressi uses on this mask is very flexible and comfortable. Compared to harder rubber masks, I would expect this one to last a long time. I don't have the occasion to use a dive mask or snorkel very often; and it's stored for most of the time. The previous ones always seem to deteriorate by the time I use them just a few times. The silicone materials of this mask set should last for many years. They even stand behind the mask with a 2 year warranty. This mask also provides excellent visibility; compared to other masks I've had. It's nice to have side view vision without having to turn my head back and forth. Even with that extra vision, the mask isn't too large for me. The snorkel is great, too! It is easy to breathe through and functions as it should. I've had a few myself that were difficult to breathe through. When submerged below the surface, I can still easily exhale through the vent. The lower vent also assist to clear any water which might have gotten into the tube with minimal air. While my wife finds it to fit a bit loosely, it works pretty good still; even for her. I have facial hair, so I get a bit of leaking, but not a lot. She finds that it also leaks a bit for her, but not more than other masks she's tried. Might be good to offer a "small adult" version instead of just the "adult" size. Overall, this is an excellent mask and snorkel set. I'm sure there are other much more expensive versions made by Cressi that address your specific needs or use, but this one is a great option in an affordable set. Given the reviews and the price point, I was expecting a lot from this mask. Despite having what I thought was an airtight fit, a lot of water still came up into the nose piece, and it ended going up into my sinuses, so I would have to remove the mask and allow them to drain every few minutes, which isn’t ideal. The snorkel worked better than any I’ve previously owned, and once I put toothpaste on the eyepiece to prevent fogging, it afforded decent viewing. For what I paid, though, I expected a much better experience from the Cressi mask than I had. ... show more

This Cressi mask is made of firm but comfortable silicone. The mask fits my (average sized) head just fine and is very comfortable with no leaks. The strap rides comfortably over the ear and is very easy to set up and adjust right out of the box. The frame is hard plastic but seems durable and well made. The snorkel is made of strong materials and is leak free. Depending upon the angle, you can dive down and not have any water ingress since the top plug prevents this (usually). Sometimes, the top cap doesn't close and water enters the snorkel ...but if you go underwater with your head upright this is not usually a problem. Even if water gets in, the snorkel has a purge vent below the mouthpiece that works very well to expel water. The mouthpiece is not the most comfortable (stiff) but it's OK. The snorkel clip is made of strong plastic and is easy to attach /detach from the mask. The angle of the snorkel cannot be adjusted much, and this can get uncomfortable if it is not perfect ...but this is typical of mask /snorkel sets in this price range. This mask and snorkel set is much better quality than average for casual users and is a good backup set for more serious divers. It is not on par with top tier masks for professionals or diving enthusiasts but it is also not nearly as expensive as high level gear. The lens is clear, the view is good, and the fit is comfortable: A solid choice for a mid-grade set that should last many outings. ... show more
