Bought two of these for a recent snorkeling vacation in the Virgin Islands. The snorkel never failed to keep water out, even on wavy days. The mask fits great, is crystal clear and has a nice wide view. Don't forget to rub the inside of the mask with your finger and normal toothpaste for 5 minutes straight in order to remove the anti-scratch silicon they spray on the inside lens at the factory before shipping (but don't tell you about). You'll have constant fogging issues if you don't do this. ... show more

I would say 4.5 stars is more accurate but it’s a great value for the price. Took this snorkel set on a 2-week trip to Hawaii and used it everyday. The mask is very comfortable with an effective but not-too-tight seal. There’s limited peripheral vision but I think that’s fairly common in snorkel masks. The snorkel is flexible enough to pack in a carry-on and the water stop valve kept the sea out of my mouth. The mouthpiece is a little big for me (average size female) but not a big deal. I had one instance where the valve stuck in the closed position and determined that this was due to not rinsing the mask in freshwater between swims (salt deposit or general ocean gunk?). A forceful blow into the snorkel UNDERWATER fixed this and I didn’t have the problem again. This happened when I was checking my gear before going in the water, not during a swim. Overall very pleased and the hubby is jealous of my dry-top upgrade so he’s buying the same set now too. ... show more
