Description

The Italian made Cressi Palau Short Open Heel Adjustable Fin is ideal for any recreational Snorkeler. The Palau open heel short blade snorkel fins are made for use with bare feet and provide outstanding comfort and versatility. The open-heel design means each fin can accommodate a wider range of sizes, so family members or friends can share equipment more easily. The short fin is an excellent choice for the avid traveler as the short blade is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for packing with ease. Frameless masks are loved by many divers and snorkelers for their low profile and ability to fold flat for easy carrying, Cressi's Frameless Mask design bonds a high-grade silicone double feathered edge Skirt directly to a single tempered glass lens for the ultimate in simplicity. The low internal volume allows for effortless clearing and the quick-adjust strap buckles are molded directly into the skirt for a flexible fit and reduced drag. The Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel has an anti- splash end with a special valve that seals the tube as you dive, almost totally preventing the entrance of water when the snorkel is submerged. The lower end has a corrugated section that has a smooth internal bore which prevents trapping water inside the snorkel tube allowing excess water to quickly drain to the collection reservoir below.

This kit is pretty much as good as it gets for this price range. The colors are great (if you try to buy Cressi fins most places usually they only come in pink or blue). I had done a ton of research before making this purchase, and really each piece of gear in here came highly recommended individually from various reviewers. The snorkel is a Cressi Supernova Dry ($25 retail), which is consistently rated as the best bang for your buck among dry snorkels. We found this to be true, my wife used it for many long excursions without any discomfort or issues with water. The Cressi Palau fin ($35 retail) is a great little fin for snorkeling particularity around coral formations, where a shorter fin can help prevent you from accidentally damaging the coral. My wife found that it did feel a little under-powered, you need to work hard to keep up with folks using regular longer fins. But overall she was happy with it, and got used to swimming with them. The Cressi Frameless Mask ($37 retail) is an awesome mask. My wife has a smaller face, and i was worried it would be too big. But the silicon really helps this fit anyone well. I have a bigger face, and it fit me too. So it will fit. It's tempered glass which is awesome. It's frameless design made it really easy for me to compress to fit into our luggage. And my wife just had a great time with it. One piece of advice with these frameless silicon masks is don't over-tighten them. If you are used to a framed mask, you might feel like you need to tighten until you feel the hard rim of the mask on your face. You don't need to do this, keep it looser than you would think, and test it out before you go out. But it will be much more comfortable if you don't over tighten. The fins are exactly what are I ordered just like the picture, black and red. The mask and snorkel I ordered red like in the picture and received all plain black. That’s why I hate to mail order because it’s a hit or miss to get what I order. Not planning to make more mail orders for a long time if any more at all. ... show more

Good product but never received the correct color. I requested the white and received the black twice. I gave up on color not wanting the continued waste of resources. Disappoint in this back and forth. There is a feel of quality in the gear.

I really like this set. Not too expensive, comes with a mesh bag, and is fairly packable. Yes, the mask fogged a bit (I brought but never used any anti-fogging treatment, so likely my fault), and leaked a bit (probably mostly because of my upper lip hair). But it worked better than another (much more expensive) mask I had also bought. My only complaint is aesthetic: it looks ridiculously small on my face. The fins are not too big, and they worked great. The snorkel is amazing. The mouthpiece was comfortable, and it kept water out well when I was completely under water. And if some water did get in (usually because I didn't keep my mouth closed enough), it was easy to clear out even while submerged! I am hardly an expert snorkeler, I get easily discomfited if my breathing feels restricted. But I was able to breathe freely and deeply with this snorkel. This set is good like the original ones I bought . I did buy two sets that have weak mask to strap connection. Do not know why cressi would cheap up a good thing. I have tried to communicate with cressi with little results. I have a sailing snorkeling business and have except for 2 set been happy.

We brought a bunch of Cressi snorkle sets to the Bahamas. Even our boat driver commented on us having good gear. We had no issues with them, very comfortable. I recommend buying the neoprene strap for the masks if you have long hair.
