Our family with four teens took a vacation to Aruba. It was advised that if we wanted to snorkel very much to bring our own equipment. At the last minute we decided to buy each person the Cressi Bonete Adult snorkel set. It came with fins, mask, snorkel and mesh bag. We snorkeled sometimes twice a day and this set was perfect for what we wanted. The small/medium fins fit our teens feet from guys 7 to ladies 11. My husband wears a mens size 13 so we got him the large/XL set. The masks were great and only leaked occasionally because of beginner error. We got some anti-fog spray and only needed to use it a couple times to keep our masks clear. The semi-dry snorkel worked well in the waves during our week in Aruba. We liked the color selection so we could color code which set belonged to which person. The mesh bag was great in keeping everything together at the end of the day. We took a catamaran trip with a group and were really glad to have our own equipment, particularly the snorkel. I would definitely recommend this brand for its quality and price for the occasional or beginning snorkeler. ... show more

I purchased this snorkeling set for a short vacation in the Bahamas. I did not use it much, but will the next time that I head to a snorkeling destination. It is relatively light and compact. The googles are clear and comfortable. And, the back that comes along with it is very convenient both for the beach and for packing it up. As a precaution, I put the googles with their glass view plate in my carry on luggage, and the rest in the checked luggage, which I would recommend. Well worth the money. ... show more

    • Great snorkel, but everything else sucks.
I had hoped this set, from a company based in CA, would be a bit better than the cheap oversees sets, but I was mostly disappointed. The good: I love the snorkel. Dry top works great and I was able to dive down 10+ feet without more than a few drops of water getting in. Purge valve works great too, so it was super easy to get those few drops back out again. Fins are super comfortable and sized nicely for travel. The not so good: The mask straight up sucks. Seemed initially to have a good seal (I even shaved clean to make sure I was doing my part) but it leaked no matter what. Fogged up a fair bit too, even with defogger spray. The fins give very little thrust and one of them cracked on my second day out. Overall, I would have been better off just renting gear for a week instead of buying this set. I'm going to get rid of everything but the snorkel and start over. ... show more

First off I’ve snorkeled probably 500+ times around the world. I have a better set that I usually snorkel with but it is in storage. I bought two sets of these for a last minute trip to the French Antilles. My partner and I both had similar issues. Mask does not seal. Especially around the nose. I had water coming in through the top of the mask as well. The snorkel is absolutely the worst. The purge valve does not purge all or enough water. Which makes this absolutely useless for any type of free diving. Don’t waste your time like I did. Save yourself the trouble and buy something better. I wish I did! ... show more

Perfect size for traveling. Fits in your suitcase and is lightweight. The fins are just right for snorkeling and are very comfortable. The mask also fits nicely with no leaking. Both are adjustable for proper fit. Comes with a convenient net bag for transporting to and from your excursion.
