    • Had some trouble but a very happy ending
I was a little nervous buying such an expensive item off Amazon but after reading all the product reviews I decided to take a chance. Within a day after I ordered I was contacted by the seller, Brian, and given the option of a commercial delivery or their in-house delivery. I chose the in-house delivery because it would include white glove treatment by their company drivers. My conversation with Brian was so pleasant he offered me a complementary upgrade for the number of games I ordered, which I happily accepted. The machine came after a couple of weeks and was delivered by Edward, who was very pleasant and accommodating. Edward and his helper unloaded the machine and dollied it around the side of our house to our basement where he put it in place after removing all the packing material. We plugged it in and I was ready to go! Everything was great for about a month, then one morning I got up and went to the machine and it wouldn't boot up. I called Creative Arcade and they were very responsive in trying to fix the problem. Since they were in California and I was across the country on the East Coast in Maine they couldn't just pop over and fix it. However, all the major components were plug-ins. After some diagnostics over the phone with their tech guy he sent me a part by FedEx which I fairly easily installed with his help. However, that didn't fix the problem and he ended up sending me another part FedEx. Sad to say, that didn't fix the problem either, so the company made arrangements for Edward to come back to my house when he was on the East Coast again and see if he could fix it. So Edward came back, and after a couple of hours on the phone with the tech guy they decided they would have to replace the machine, Edward had another machine on the truck that he had exchanged for someone else, so he took my machine away and left the other machine in its place until my machine could be replaced by another like it. I happily used that machine for several months, but it didn't have as many games as they had originally promised me. Because of the pandemic, they were having trouble getting a replacement, so they offered me another upgrade from a two person arcade to a four person one with the same number of games they had promised. Edward came back to my house a third time to deliver that machine. The point is - I had worried about customer service before I placed the order. What if something went wrong? It was a lot of money to send to some place out in the sky - not directly shipped from Amazon. Well something did go wrong but they made it all right. So if you're worried about that, I think this company is reputable and responsive. Everyone I dealt with was extremely pleasant and helpful. I am glad I bought this arcade from them and would do it again. Now to the arcade itself. I've had the two person and now the four person and they are good products. Very sturdy, just like the arcade machines we played on in the 80's. In fact it's even better as there are many, many games in one machine instead of just one game like the old arcades. The gaming experience is exactly the same as the old days. The controls work well and the sound is great. The cabinet has wheels and is easy to move around. Since I was upgraded to the 4500, there are so many games I can play a different game every day for the next 12.5 years and not repeat, except when there are multiple versions of the same game. If you want a list of the games, you can email them. I did when I was considering the purchase and they sent me back a list within a couple of hours. Now that we have something fun to play with, we're planning family game nights with pizza and snacks. I am very happy with my purchase. Now when I get really rich, maybe I'll buy a pinball machine! ... show more

I was setting up an Entertainment room. My brother told me about his arcade machine that was in his garage that he purchased from Walmart, $240, now $320. About 24 games. He was shocked when I purchased this unit from Amazon for 3K! I wanted the real thing, so... It really is the real thing! Weighing in at close to 300 pounds, I got the 2-player version with 3,500 games and am amazed. The overall construction and quality is top notch. I was really impressed from heavy duty wheels and the adjustable metal with rubber bottom legs that let you level and anchor the unit. Cooling fan in back, good wiring, counter in front for coins, volume control, key for maintenance access to back and key for front access. Easy flip table top for maintenance of buttons, switches, wiring. Man, this is definitely a keeper. I got my money's worth, and then some. Personally, I won't use it much. For me, it was a decor piece for the arcade side of my entertainment room. Beside it is a full motion VR racing cockpit where I spend my time. But it is a hit at parties and folks love it. I had one issue with the coin receiver, which I wanted working with coins since I have candy dispensers in room that needed quarters, of which I had in abundance. There was screw missing and entire assembly was loose. I complained to dealer, and wow, the response was immediate and fully supportive. They have an excellent staff that talk you through everything. A new coin receiver was sent (didn't need it, just needed a screw) and they called me and made sure it was all working perfectly. I can't recall better support for any other Amazon product I've purchased. They really want to make sure you are satisfied, and that I am. Be warned, this product is LARGE. I had to remove my front door to get it in. However, I didn't realize how well they package this thing. I mean, plastic wrap, huge thick shipping box, more plastic wrap, high quality plastic foam around entire unit, more plastic wrap. If I only knew! There are heavy duty wheels under unit, if I had unpacked it first on driveway, it would have been a lot easier and no door removal and door knob removal on my linen closet would have been necessary!!! I've never seen this level of packing care. Not a scratch! Five stars isn't enough. This product is worth the money and I'm totally satisfied. Oh yea, works very well too. ... show more

Easily a top 3 purchase of my lifetime. I grew up playing all of these games and this arcade system feels exactly like when I played as a child. From the joystick to the sounds to the visuals of the games, this feels like a commercial arcade game. The only thing more thrilling than playing is watching my children play... they love the games too. I can’t say enough about how much fun this game system is. Also the company was great. I had an issue with fitting the system into the designated room and although I figured it out, they were going to send some people over to help. We were able to text and talk directly with a customer service rep. I was very worried about quality and customer service when ordering this machine given its price. This is a well made system... solid. Even the stools it came with were high quality. And more importantly... the arcade is so fun!!! Some things that I wasn’t sure about for your information: - there is a volume control in the cabinet - it’s very easy to navigate the 3500 games - it’s easy once you figure out how to switch from game to game and what the buttons do. My only criticism is that it should come with written directions, but the home screen has most of the button controls explained. Initially, it was difficult for me to navigate Amazon's website to get in touch with Creative Arcades when I found that the machine I ordered didn't fit through one of my doorways, but once I did, Mike, Brian and the Delivery Staff were nothing short of excellent in getting the matter resolved.
