So many good things about these curtains: 100% blackout, thick material, no shiny (not cheap looking), the way they hang was simple, easy, and didn’t allow light in. You get a lot for your $$ with these blackout curtains. Make sure you triple check your measurements because mine were not long enough to go from ceiling to the floor to look more expensive. I was disappointed with this part.

I bought these because I was tired of my old sheers, and wanted a blackout curtain, without spending a lot of money. These were perfect. The color is perfect, and they have a linen texture. My ceilings are 10 ft., I could have used them a little longer, but just hung them on hooks rather than the rod pocket. I didn’t iron them, just threw them in the dryer to heat up and get the wrinkles out. They feel somewhat rubbery, so my guess is they won’t wash well, but good for now. And, yes, they do block out all light, so sleep well!

These curtains have a good thickness to them and are also made of a quality material. They have definitely help up their value so far over 3 months. I washed them in the washer machine once I first got them, but even after hanging for a month, I had to steam out the wrinkles. The picture with them closed is at night, but they are definitely blackout. They keep my living room significantly cooler if they are closed during the day.

DO NOT BUY! I received these and thought the material looked great, the quality seemed decent for the price. However, as with most things you buy new, they had a smell to them. So I washed them before hanging and followed the instructions to ensure I washed them properly. After washing, they were hung in our new home with the disappointing realization that small holes opened up on the "blackout" side. The material after washing can only be described as "wind breaker" material. Considering the cost, I would NOT recommend buying these to anyone. The quality is NOT good, the value for the money is NOT worth it. Keep looking, guys. Let my loss be your lesson.

The color is as shown and the curtains block the lights as state. No odor was noticed when they were removed from the original packaging. The feel is a bit like linen with an almost rubbery feel although this is not a show stopper. These are for a second bedroom and hopefully will stand the test of time. They do come out somewhat wrinkled as stated in other reviews and I don't think they would ever come out by just hanging them up. They really need to be ironed and a a bit higher temperature than suggested or you will be there all day. While they look pretty good after ironing, not all the wrinkles will come out.
