So the wattage is 5w not 72. But besides that the thing worked and did the job with light burn. And engraver with pretty good markings. While it won't do engrave metal it'll mark metal. this is a good starter laser for anyone wants to learn and get into the hobby customer service is also amazing.

I have had this for a full year - I have not been able to use it once. My Mac would never recognize it. All the hacks and "driver updates" suggested never worked. It's just a hunk of aluminum taking up space in my office. Haven't been able to sell it, so it's going to a thrift store, I suppose.

Setup and getting this engraving the sample was pretty quick, I don't get the 1 star reviews. If you are a DIYer you should have no problem with it. It's def not a one step process for doing your own designs so it does take a bit of messing around and watching some videos on this sort of content

My loved one thinks this the greatest sin sliced bread. Ya, she's not that old but it is truely cool. We have pets like cats and children. Got the enclosure so the boys eye won't get hurt from the laser. Also got the air kit to keep the surface clear of smoke and debries. That's a biggie. Smoke and debries can kill a lense over time.

I'm new to laser engraving/cutting. I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't like it. This machine is just what I was looking for. It feels solid and well made. Was very easy to assemble. It's perfect for what I am wanting to do. Plenty of power for me.

After windows rendered the CH340 driver old news, all the lasers became unable to communicate with my computer. I reached out to creality, they tried to help me install them, it didn’t work. They sent me a new motherboard with the SAME chip, meaning they didn’t solve my issue, I could still use the offline option, but I didn’t buy a brand new laser cutter to only be able to partially use it. Side note: they have a falcon software developed which they never mention on this posting or their own website and only found it through the link they provided.
