    • Very silent but crappy connector
I really like that it is so quiet. The connectors are crap and I've had a lot of "Thermal Runaway" errors - and have had to push on the connector to make it work. It is currently printing very well, but the unit has been placed beside the printer to allow me to push the connector.

i bought this board and installed in my ender5+ during the initial build. never even used the stock board. quiet indeed, however a bit pricey here. and now even more so circa oct2022… one problem-i ended up having to flash new firmware from ‘kersey fabrications’ to get the auto bed leveler to function properly. kinda cheesy a third party, with no ties to creality, had to write code to get a printer to work. and i sent kersey fab some $ for his work, couldnt have done it without him. consider doing the same if you use his code? he does alot of work so we masses dont have to. cheers ... show more

    • Get a different board
Just don't. You are paying $90 for decreased motor noise. It just isn't worth it. This board still uses a mini USB, you have to rename your g-code files because it won't recognize them. You can't change any major settings from the printer itself. The amount of settings you can change from my ender 5 to the ender 5 plus decreases by about 90%. It's pretty much just nozzle and bed temp. Buy a different board. This one isn't worth it ... show more

Installed. Didn't have to adjust anything, only issue I had was my own fault. There are 2 wires you have to crimp down via screw clamp, and I had installed too far so heater circuit wasn't making good contact. Took about 15-20 minutes to install as you have to tilt printer, remove panel, and pick away hot glue. But I've been using this board since day of receive and it's been solid. No change except noise level between stock board and this. Definitely worth the upgrade if you need the quiet. ... show more

    • This is not a 32 bit board!!!Total junk
This is just the stock 8 bit board with quieter stepper. I have ordered 3 so far and they have all been DOA, either the USB has a bad connection or it was frozen out of the box. The 32 bit board does not have a USB interface so don't be fooled. These are old boards from salvaged machines they are passing off as upgrades. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! ... show more

    • It’s truly a plug and play board
I purchased this for my ender 5 plus and WOW, what a difference, if you have a 5 plus you know how loud it is and now mine is so quiet after installing this board that I have to check to make sure it’s still running. The install was wire for wire and a breeze, only issue was the factory board in my 5 plus had all the wires hot glued and it was a pain to get them out. Install took about a hour, make sure you take lots of pictures before you begin, these will help with putting everything back in its place. ... show more

    • Quiet as advertised, worked out of the box!
Quiet!!! Previously had an Ender 5 and upgraded to a silent board, so I knew I needed one first time I fired the Ender 5 Plus up. It was super loud! Easily swapped out the connections and was up and running in about 20 mins. BL touch worked fine and printing noise was non-existent, only the loud fans can be heard.
