    • My Thumbs Hurt
Bought this so that my granddaughter and I could make a Mother's Day gift for her mom. First, I got sucked in by the Crayola name. UGH. Then it all just crumbled from there. The 'squishy' glitter balls are VERY hard to meld into shape in the clear pieces. The clear pieces do NOT click or snap or attach to the pink back pieces...I finally had to get my hot glue gun! The clear plastic clips that are used to mount and support the 'jewel' pieces do not stay clipped...they just open up and fall off. Same with the purple hair clips...they do not stay clipped, the parts do not clip/snap together very well. I am not an engineer, so please accept apologies if I'm not using the correct terminology. Bottom line: NOT for kids, or arthritic Grandmas. After three attempts to manipulate the glitter balls into place, my g-daughter told me that her thumbs hurt. I attempted to finish the rest, and then MY thumbs hurt. UGH ... show more

Difficult to use and make and came with no instructions. Was a gift for my 6 year old niece. We did them together, was ok. The glitter dots were messy and hard to use. It wasn’t what I thought it would be. I would not recommend or buy again.

This is a cool idea, it would have worked a lot better if the glitter dots in our package weren’t dried out. They were absolutely hard as rocks. The clips didn’t want to stay on the headband. I like the idea but they were a pain.
