The frame plastic is brittle and will crack if struck with force. I found out the hard way. I attempted to use a 1/8" steel pin and lightweight hammer to create a starter hole for the first fastener screw in the upper center portion of the frame plastic. After that error, I placed the frame exactly where I wanted it to be attached to the brick wall. Then I used a 1/4 masonry drill bit to easily penetrate the frame plastic and the cement seams. I hand-screwed six fastener screws. The frame seated tightly against the wall with no gaps. I then attached the crawl space cover. The final product looks good and is a huge improvement over the steel cover installed by the builder. Pricey, but a highly recommended product, because it will never rot and rust. ... show more

Corner cracked while getting ready to install. There are no pins to lock door on as pictured. Instead it’s relying on plastic tension latches. So as soon as it heats up from sun and a good breeze comes along I’m sure this thing is going across the yard. I bought another one of these a few months back but it had the pins but it was too big so I returned it. Save your money and have a metal door built. Once and done. The door is a good fit and the concept is strong. However, for the price, it's overpriced. The door it self cracked while installing, the screws it came with all stripped screwing them in, and for the price, the screws should be coated black, so they match the door frame, also a pack of weather stripping of some sort to fill in the gaps between the stucco would help. ... show more

Chose the 20x32 size, item did not meet description. Went to return because it clearly did not fit. Seller said photo #3 describes “total dimensions”. Also that the description states the dimensions are 25 1/2” x 37 34”. Why even offer different sizes!! Even the box it came with clearly says it’s 20x32. Now I have to pay to return this item. ... show more
